Shit Mornin' Delight was on tap for almost 2 full days in Dubuque recently. Had a group of friends up there get 3-5 pours each. Not much of a MD crowd in DBQ.

Heck, MD was on tap for 2-3 days at the TG taproom recently.

Stop it, you guys! You all know those beers are impossible to get. You're just yanking my chain.

I have just recently sought after limited releases and "hard to come bys". By following all steps listed above, being polite on the forums, I have found myself the recipient of many limited releases from TG. Now I haven't gotten their "whales" as I have just started a few months ago. But I don't think I am priced out of the hunt and happy to try, that's half the fun right? If you want something rare, you have to put in the effort to get it.

No. You publicly and anonymously bitch on an internet forum hoping the owner and/or head brewer see that their biggest supporter and greatest fan did not get 1 or multiple bottles/pours of highly sought after brews. Only then will they show up at your door with said "whales" and possibly morels... those bastards (compliment) love morels. Out west, replace morels with clams and out east... something like beans.

    Does that actually work?!?

    ...

My 10 year wedding anniversary is on Friday. My wife and I have never had KBBS or Assassin, it would totally be the bestest anniversary present to get one or both of those (multiples of each are cool too, will also accept a vanilla bean assassin).

Clark, Mike or anyone from TG that wants to make our 10 year wedding anniversary the bestest ever and make dreams come true, just BM and I will send you my address to you so can send us the beer.

Did I mention that my daughter was born with out her fibular bone in her right leg (congenital condition called fibular hemimelia) and will result in 5 (only 4 more to go) major limb lengthening surgeries? I am sure when she is old enough to appreciate beer that she would think us getting one or more of those beers was a totally radical 10 year anniversary present too!

To all those who get this enjoy it thoroughly, pretty rare stuff! Hopefully it lives up to the hype! Out of state non-mug Clubber wishing he could luck out and hit the silent drop, but that's pretty much close to nil. Cheers and best of luck to all!

Can you blame them? The demand for their beer is through the roof and we see bottles selling on secondary market for hundreds of dollars. I'm fine with the price tag.

Here's to hoping that being on that mug club waiting list will result in something positive... in about a decade.

I'd love to have a bottle of ANY Toppling Goliath BA brew, and at $50 for a bottle of something like that wouldn't even register as an issue.
