TG is one of the only breweries I have been excited for arriving in MN. Get here soon please. Thank you.

5 is just the beginning. There will be brand new German varieties (Germany's brand new high oil, high citrus character hops) as well as combinations of different hops. With some of the beers in the series, people's descriptions will have the potential of helping with the decision to continue growing some of these varieties, naming them (not directly, but you never know), as well as the descriptors used in the future marketing of these hops. I've been working hard with the folks at HopUnion to secure some of these and I hope everyone is as excited to drink these as I am to brew them!

So where can we vote to nominate Brew Masta Mike the 2013 Brewer of the Year? I'm serious. Is there an award for that in the craft beer industry? You are killing it, buddy! Keep up the awesome job and I can't wait to try any new creation you come up with, especially new IPAs!

I was wondering this as well. Had the pleasure of meeting the TG kats at last years Darkness Day and got to enjoy some of the lovely brews they brought. Hope they're there again this year.

Really glad to see the tweet that indicated that all of the XHop IPA series of beers will be bottled as well. Stoked!

i am getting really stoked for this knowing that it will be bottled. Living 3 hours out with a new child at home makes it virtually impossible for me to try the tap only stuff, but he loves travelling to breweries to get bottles. He already has New Glarus and 3Floyds under his onesie! Honestly i am as excited for these releases as i am for about any of the TG line. New hops....count me in everyday and twice on....well, everyday! @TGBC @TGCHIEF....when aboutsish do you think this will hit the taproom? November?

Hopefully sometime in November, but it will likely be later on in the month if it is. We're still doing a little work on the labels, but once we finish that and some tanks free up, it'll be go time!

This is why this place deserves a spot among the top tier in craft brewing in the U.S...well that and the fact they actually know how to put it all together to make great beers....and also the fact they keep their pricing reasonable....

Sounds like the first of the X-Hops series of IPAs is being brewed today!

Per a tweet last night from Brewmasta Mike, it appears the first X-Hops beer will be ready/bottled next week and possibly the following week for the second X-Hops beer!

I hope these see some modest distro to the usual places TG ends up at. One can hope! @TgBC do you have any light to shed on this?

Really? Their pricing is reasonable? Have you ever seen pricing on their bottles? I live in Decorah (just blocks away from the brewery) and I think they are way over priced. I like there beer but Golden Nugget and Naughty 90 is the only ones worth while. Im glad to see they are finally coming out with some new beers, because at the tap room all they ever do is mix current beers together and call it new. I think they have great potential but I just don't get the hype. When was the last time they came out with a new beer? I am looking forward to their new beers as I am a supporter of them (even though it may not read like that).

Considering Naughty 90 has tasted like a handful of different flavors over the years, I'll disagree. I think GNug is their best and most consistent hoppy beer they put out, so I'll be interested to see how these new ones taste and what sort of distribution they'll see.

Couldn't disagree more with ya, guy. I was there yesterday and tried a Belgo Pseudo Sue and there was also a Brown Ale that was new, can't recall the name offhand. I want to say they had nine different beers available... That's not enough? The worst thing I see breweries doing, just like restaurants, is make their menu too large and they end up doing none of it at a high level.

I haven't seen bottle prices but when I wrote that I could get growlers of all their stuff for 8.99 and now 9.99....compared to the overpriced growler offerings at most places in MN these days that is a great price.

Plus every beer I have had from them has been great-to-excellent....I knew nothing about this place until after I was blown away by their beers and since then the buzz has grown but rightfully so....I just love their product and think getting growlers for 9-to-10 bucks is great...If they were smart they would make sure those prices do not creep up....a lot of positive buzz based on people buying growlers for reasonable prices and getting great product...
