With Rhinegeist newly-arrived in Cleveland, I've been impressed with Truth IPA and Streaker Rye IPA.

Which, inevitably, led me to rearranging my favorite bottled Ohio brewery.

Fat Head's, Columbus, and even Brew Kettle (if they produced 6ers of El Lupulo Libre for god's sake).

I can't tell where they fit in in my lineup. FH and CBus have established upper-hands, but these guys in Cinci are killing it in terms of go-to flavor profiles, drinkability, and balanced flavor intensity.

I've been hearing about these guys for years and now I understand why.

Any opinions from the Heart of America?

(Note: haven't been to Hoof Hearted yet. Give me a month or two)

The four you mentioned definitely bottle and distribute the best IPAs in Ohio. Unfortunately these breweries don't distribute much else (though Brew Kettle comes close). The nod probably still has to go to Great Lakes for best variety in their lineup, which is kind of sad that no one else has stepped up to contend for that honor over the years

Maumee Bay's Glasshopper IPA is my favorite under-the-radar beer. Delicious and fruity.

If that's an answer you're looking for.
