Topsail/Surf city recommendations

    Wondering if anyone had any bottle shop, brewery, growler fill spots, or decent restaurants recommendations for Topsail Beach/Surf City area. Bonus if it’s kid friendly. I saw Salty turtle does growler fills, pretty close to where we’re staying. Thanks in advance.

    Can't help from experience in the area but looks like a place called Eventide has decent bottle/can/draft and a place called The Peak Taphouse states in their description having the largest draft selection On Topsail Island though it looks like maybe 12 taps but they appear to have cans/bottles to go too.

    If you've got time for a day or afternoon trip I definitely recommend a drive to Wilmington. Probably 40-45min drive. Spent a couple summer vacations in Wrightsville Beach and found Wilmington to have an impressive brewery scene.

    I second the Wilmington idea- great beer, nice old downtown area,great food, family will enjoy- good option on a non beach day.
    Might be best beer city in NC after Asheville ?

    When I was there in October 2021, I went to a beer shop with taps just north of Surf City called The Lotus Shop. Located in a strip mall. They have a website with a current(?) tap list.
