I know some people who have some bad reactions to unfiltered beer due to the yeast. So they cannot drink any naturaly carbonated beer. Maybe same with your friend? Or can he/she not have BMC either?

This thread is off to an incredible start. All the cool kids should go to Mikkeller. There will be nothing worth drinking at Toronado. They generally throw awful parties with awful tap selections.

All the East Coast bros think that they're going to sell a bunch of CCK at this year's party - I call horseshit.

Some people are actually allergic to hops. It's kinda fucked up.

By the way - being dead serious here - Corona is gluten free. Not that Mikkeller or Toronado would have one but it's not an extremely awful choice. It just tastes like nothing.

Did the last one have an unknown cherry allergy?

Yep. All corn on that guy. Mmmmm corn in my beer! Pairs perfectly with corn chips. Fuck the kriek parties. Let's do some corn parties with Corona whalez paired with different corn items. We can french press lime into it! Plus there's Corona on Vanilla Beans and Tcho Cocoa Nibs.

This has become one of the worst threads I've ever seen. I was really looking forward to finding out some details about the party but that's been thrown out the window but instead I'm just finding out about a bunch of useless allergy information.

I bet you wouldnt think it was useless if you had celiac . Seriously though bro...I dont think anybody knows anything yet. Nothing is on the FB page nor the website.

Didn't know that, but not surprised. I knew dogs are allergic to hops, not the residue left in beer, but the actual hop matter. As a homebrewer a use leftover grain to make dog treats, but cannot use any grains that have hops in them (like hopped mash for a Berliner Weiss)

So, regarding GF beer (and products in general). Something that is certified GF (which Corona and Bud Light are not) can still have gluten in them, the same way that a non-alcoholic beer can have a small amount of alcohol. Most of the major GF brands of beer on the market are, actually, 100% gluten free, not just certified as so.

Depending on someone's level of gluten intolerance, allergy, celliac disease, whatever... they must personally experiment with different products to see what they can handle. Some people who are gluten intolerant can handle Corona because it is very low in gluten, but it is not gluten free.

Yeah, it's definitely a shame that people aren't filling this thread with unsubstantiated speculation about the tap list. Toronado won't release anything other than (maybe) the date prior to the event. Period.

Seriously, the bottom line is, nobody knows anything about what they're going to do. Even the bartenders won't know until the day before. There are a few people behind the scenes there that will make the decisions and make it happen but seriously there's no way to know until we are there.

If I had to guess, CC 12' will be on tap along with some other rare-ish beers, an older RR or two and some IPAs that will be made by local breweries like Hollister and another one from an SD brewery (pizza port, alpine, societe, or something like that). This is the most accurate speculation I could possibly give. I much preferred T24 party to the T25 party. Great tap lineup, less crowds and CC 10' for $3 a 7oz pour...wtf! Considering Keene Idea is rated like #5 of all DIPAs of all time there is a decent chance Alpine will make it again. Amazing beer.
