I enjoy both, but I'd have to go with Centennial.

I think Centennial tastes a little better, but they're both really good and I buy Torpedo more frequently because it's a couple bucks cheaper

wow, would've never guess from the flavor/aroma - I always associate piney flavors with chinook

    This sounds about right.

Centennial blows Torpedo out of the water and it's not even close.

The OP said it right--your preference.

People prefer one over the other but wouldn't go to the better/worse argument--both are well made brews.

Centennial is a much more typical IPA, Torpedo (and SN's other hoppy offerings) are very unique to my tastes.

I have not had either that much, but got to say Torpedo - solid IPA that is great value, Centennial I had once and thought it was not memorable and I'm a Founders fan

Centennial for me as well, sorry Sierra Nevada. @beerdedking I prefer Big Eye over Sculpin.

I like both, but if I had both in my fridge at the same time (and I have) I will usually grab the Centennial first. To be honest I prefer Celebration over Torpedo anyway.
