I remember when Ballast Point started Distributing to Baltimore. I picked up Sculpin (because of the hype). It was a very good IPA. Then I tried Big Eye and was like...why isn't this as highly sought after? Then again, I'm glad it's not sought after as much as Sculpin. Then I would have to knife off a few more beer geeks at my beer store.

Is this a real question? Torpedo is vastly cheaper and better tasting.

Neither one is even close to my favorite beer from their respective breweries, but I do enjoy both from time to time. I have to give fresh Centennial the edge.

I like Torpedo, but for me it's Centennial all day.

Torpedo no question about it. Centennial tastes very bland to me, while Torpedo is almost a perfect mix of hops and malt.

I love Founder's overall but Torpedo holds a special place in my heart for both nostalgic and just overall greatness. I still love you Founder's............

With so much good stuff out there neither one is really anywhere near my radar.

Love Torpedo's price point but I consider Centennial a classic (giving it the nod).

I prefer FBS or Narwhal over any of the IPAs on offer by either brewery

Centennial is a fridge go-to (being cheaper in cans - which I can get here in Australia) and it edges out Torpedo scorewise for me, but in the flavour department Torpedo wins with a more varied hop bouquet... it's a tough one, but Centennial wins overall.

Next beer versus beer question? (I might post my own).
