Torst 2nd Anniversary (3/8)

To throw a couple other bars in there that are in the areas you are hanging out - Proletariat is worth checking out (for your Fool's Gold night), and Mission Dolores / Owl Farm are both close(ish) to Threes (for the Brooklyn night) - along with 4th Av pub already mentioned by boardwalk

Brooklyn Brewery worth checking out from a (for want of a better word) historical standpoint, but IMO the beer and value (they have this token system) are not that good with everything else that's available these days.

 

what kinda range are we talking? ps good info on the train. might make a trip down myself soon and when it's nicer out this will definitely come in handy.

Ouch! I thought the prices here in SoCal were high. Must be the classy joint. But most of those you won't find in California, yet.

 

FWIW, they sometimes offer different prices for size. It can still be pretty pricey. Here's an example of an old one:

 

Yeah they make you think that you're getting a good deal on the handful of beers that are less than $1/oz haha

 

yeah their beermenus page doesn't show all sizes, but still - it gives an idea for people asking

 

Letting people in groups of 10-15. Line still pretty deep.

Cantillon is nice and all but that line is a big nope

 

Idk what the line is like now but it's running super smoothly and not really crowded in here. I think the event was run super well. Nothing kicked yet either
