@floridadrift maybe you didn't miss out on much. The two growlers I opened yesterday (filled Thursday afternoon) were completely flat. not a hint of carb. total duds. I plan on waiting a little while before I get more - let them work out their kinks before I put another $30 down for nothing.

Yeah man. It's the same machine they have at ABC Growler stations, so something went wrong on these.

Rob Hill here; writing with my Total Wine hat on here as I work in the TWM home office. I'm aware you posted about this issue via another social media channel as well, which was picked up for action by us beginning last night.

Helpful hint for any unsatisfactory issues relating to TWM: We want to fix it for you! You can email us http://www.totalwine.com/Email-Us, or use the telephone feature of your smart pocket thingy (AKA phone) and dial this number: 855-330-6673 toll free to talk with a service rep. They'll make it right for you.

We're sorry for the flat growler beer you unfortunately received. There have been raves about the beer list on tap, and few complaints, leading us to believe it may have been operator error on the part of the Team Member in the store. The Store Manager informed me that the growler station was without power on training day just prior to opening, which caused the scheduled training session to not happen. So we're getting that rescheduled. As you know, the Pegas growler tap system is no regular tap, and there is some training involved for filling growlers. We apologize.

Please help us help you get it right for you, and cheers to beer.

@RobH - I was planning on stopping by the location later this week to discuss in person. Thanks for the response here as well.

Per Rob's input I will confirm that will make it right. I too bought three growler fills on Thursday at the grand opening. Two Funky Buddha French Toast and a BCBS fill. I cracked one of the French Toast on Saturday, and while the wife and I did drink it, it had very little carb. (Side note, best smelling beer I've ever had). Today I took the two remaining growlers back, and when I expressed my concerns here they refunded me the two I brought back AND the one that we did drink. Kudos to Mike (store manager I dealt with at TW) for the customer service.

It did smell fantastic. Straight syrup with a hint of sweet cinnamon sugar. Without the carb, I only was able to get down abotu half of the growler between the gf and myself. Hate wasting good beer.

I just received word that our two existing FLA growler stores (Altamonte Springs and South Sarasota) are now green-lighted to fill 64oz. growler bottles. If you have a 64oz. bottle you can bring it in. Be sure it's see-through (sorry, no stainless steel or other opaque vessels) as we need to be able to see the liquid fill line.

If you don't have a 64oz. growler, Altamonte Springs will have some for sale beginning 7/13, and S. Sarasota on 7/20.

Yes, amber/brown glass is best. Sorry, I did not mean to give the impression it has to be clear glass. Brown is best for UV light protection. The bottles we sell are brown, too.

RobH is there a link/website so we can check what's currently on tap?

and that OP porter that shows "on deck" is on as of last night.

and to reply to my previous posts about the flat growlers that I had received on their opening day: they completely took care of me yesterday and made it right (replacements for those fills that could be replaced or swapped and refunds for those that could not be replaced.) 100% positive experience with Pete and his team. I will be back for sure.

Glad they got 64oz coming as well, hopefully East Colonial gets a station in the near future as well.

Really wish these stations supported the metal growlers as I'm loving my Miir stainless one but can understand why they don't.
