Attended a DR and BB tasting with Brock Wagner in Dallas last night. There are a good chunk of different events across the Total Wine stores in the Metroplex. Take a look here. Looks like a number of brewers will be in store to talk about their beers.

    Sold out in 5... 4... 3...

Last night was pretty badass. If you ever have a chance to attend a "Brock event" I highly recommend. His sidekick "man hands" was there too... she's a meany pants.

You know after I posted that I was trying to remember if we had BB 1... I should have brought mine for the 5 of us to share in the parking lot after. Kind of sucks we didn't do the whole vert. Probably not much of it left.

<-- probably that one? I hope I'm wrong. I missed the BA Ten Fidy last month at FS. I'd really like to try it.

I did that same Saint Arnold event at Central Market with Brock for beer week except they did have BB1. Can't remember if they had 5 yet though.

I really want an answer on what beers will be at that Founders dinner. $30 is a pretty great price.

For $30 I was curious enough that I bought tickets.

I'm going to Ray Daniels one tomorrow as well. Really looking forward to this one.

Last nights class with Ray Daniels at the Dallas Park store was incredible. He provided samples of malts & hops, discussed how important taste and smell are in truly enjoying beer, and went over the history of the cicerone program. It was definitely worth attending this event and I look forward to attending more of the events.

I go my email today featuring today's beers on sale. Save $2 on Saint Arnold's Amber 12-Packs, Leffe Blonde 6-Packs and Redhook Longhammer 6-Packs.

Just in!! Heard that tonight's No Label Event at the Total Wine on Park Lane & 75 will include two rare beers. The event is from 6:30-8pm with a tasting from 5-6 which will feature their entire line-up of product that is available in the market. The special rare beers that will be tasted are:

Bourbon Barrel Aged Elda M Milk Stout - This beer has been barrel aged in Maker's Mark & Four Rose Bourbon barrels.

11 Amp IPA - This beer is not yet available in bottles out in the market. Only available on draft for now but packaging should be out in the market in the next couple of months. This IPA is 63 IBU's and is 6.5% ABV.

Just thought I would share with all in the BA community of the two beers specially being opened at the event.

There's plenty of people who still go apeshhhhhh over that swill. Wish they would do that exact beer without the damn champagne yeast.
