Their is a Total Wine going up next to Baybrook Mall in the section with Dicks, Golf Galaxy and Field and Stream store.
Compared to the one I've been to in Florida, way more organized and bigger beer selection. Bigger selection of wine and cigars as well.
My experience in Dallas: TW is a nicer looking store in general, organized, many employees wear slacks and ties. TW has a nice selection of singles, basically an entire aisle. Specs continues to add to their singles selection but still lacking compared to TW. I tend to find things sit longer at TW. I find a larger selection of beers and distilled spirits at Specs though. I don't usually shop for wines or cigars so I can't speak to that. Again, my experience in Dallas.
The one I've been to in Las Vegas was fantastic.... as good as the best Spec's as far as beer selection.
Total wine is going to be amazing this and Beers looking at your are the two best things to go into the area this year
Ok driving by WillowBrook mall it seems they are opening one up on the other side of 1960. Man if it is true they do mix 6 then that will be nice as there is really nothing out on this side of houston that does that.
almost crashed my car whipping my neck around. But yeah saw the sign, it is in that long complex where Academy is located. This is all I can find about it online though Job Offer
Beers looking at you is a bottle shop on 3, very chill no TVs no food but good tap list and you can bring food in or take beer to the cigar shop next door
The Total Wine at Willowbrook officially opened today, slipped in there around lunch and grabbed a mix 6 and a 6 pack of Lagunitas Born Yesterday. Had some things that are hard to find out here, i.e. 6 pack of Victory at Sea (abt $1.50 less than specs) and 6 packs of Sorachi Ace (abt $1.50 less than specs). Nice selection of pick 6. Really love the 4 packs of Old Tankard Ale which expired in June of 2016, bet the distributor loved seeing those go
(regarding last sentence) Can't tell you how much that pisses me off when distros do that. @JackHorzempa just as we've discussed...
Here in Fort Worth, Total Wine tries to be an upscale Specs and fails miserably. It's not a bad store, but the employees are worthless and sometimes rude. Selection is pretty even to specs as well although beer sits on the shelves much, much longer. I rarely go in there.
