Agreed, they don’t usually have the best prices for limited beer releases and they tend to mark up $1-$3 but not usually $6. I had been casually trying to find CBS bottles for a few years now and it was my first time seeing them sitting on shelf so I splurged. I wasn’t expecting to find it at Whole Foods. Usually if it’s something I buy on regular basis I know which store has the best price also I will use the 10% coupon at TW. Some other stores that often have the same beer for a couple of bucks cheaper than TW are Whole Foods, Lucky’s Market and sometimes ABC. Hey at least CBS was available in decent amounts this time right? May crack one open on Dec 31. Happy New Yr!

 

I first saw the bottles at TW also but decided $29.99 was just too much for me to feel comfortable spending. Then, a day or two later I happen to be at Whole Foods and saw it for the $23.99. That seemed more in line with other prices so I purchased one. All in all it's a great beer but I do feel it's a little too hyped. But, you don't have to look far to find beers that over-hyped now. Cheers.

Yeah picked up a can from TW Stuart to try, it’s pushing over a month old though- canned 11/28.

Anyone hear any word about Pirate Bomb! I heard it was out for delivery this week.

 

Check your local TW, Prairie has hit. Noir, Vanilla Noir, and Bourbon Paradise.

 

TW is such a shit show...Cordova store shows inventory for Willetized and all the Prairies but all they had was Noir...

 

Don’t know if anybody noticed or cares but the TW in Boca has many cases of Jai Alai White Oak as of last week. I still consider it special and picked up two 4 packs.

 

Nice 12/27 that’s pretty fresh. I grabbed a 4 pack of WOJA at TW Plantation stamped 12/14

 

To me WOJA is a shell of the beer it used to be and disappointing. Just my opinion.

 

My local TW had no limit on Prairie. 2 cases of Paradise and 2 cases of Vanilla Noir we’re gone in 1 day.

 

Kendall got Vanilla Noir and Noir yesterday. Went in this morning and got a bottle of each but there was only a few bottles of each left. No boxes behind the counter so it’s likely they only got a couple cases max.

 

Any HopSlam sightings in S Fla yet?

 

the new Total Wine guest brewery is Urban South from New Orleans. I was in New Orleans in November and really enjoyed the Holy Roller IPA so I picked up a 6 pack at TW Plantation (canned 1/5/18). With the 10% off coupon it’s only like $8.10 per sixer. They also have Delta Momma hoppy lager, Coop’d Up tart saison, and Charming Wit witbier all $8.99.

Didn’t see any Hopslam.

 

Holy roller is excellent, picked up another sixer today.

Hopslam available in Tampa as of now.

Do you mean regular Noir? We got that here too. I'm looking for the Rum Barrel version.
