I didn't know 50/50 bottled this brew, but I was able to pick up a bottle at Hacienda today. I'm guessing other shops in the area would also receive some. Just FYI..

i saw it at a local spot. the price ($15.99) turned me away from it tho. i can get much better stouts for under $10 bucks and deschutes and firestone walker reserve brews for the same price.

now if i find it for 8-10 bucks ill grab a few for sure.

It's not something they normally bottle. In fact, as far as I know, the only thing that has regularly been bottled at fifty fifty is the eclipse series. Last time i was in truckee, about 3 weeks ago, I did pick up a few bottles of the totality as well as some BART. That was the first time I'd ever seen either in bottles. I believe the totality at the brewery was something around $8-$10 (could be wrong though?)

I grabbed it for a few bucks below that price. I agree; there are good IS's for much cheaper. I guess the ticker in me won that battle.

I'd grab a bottle just to see how it tastes next to some of my eclipse bottles.

There isn't really that much to the beer, which is one of the reasons it portrays the differences in the individual barrels so well. I'm not saying it is a bad beer, I just don't think it is a compelling beer by itself. Definite "don't buy" at that price. A simple imperial stout should cost in the $6-10 range max.
