I live in Manahawkin, formerly Tuckerton (pinelands brewery town) and I can tell you because I've lived in Holgate on LBI and worked for Backwards Flag..... pinelands is an hour to ship bottom because you need to drive up to manahawkin to get to the causeway bridge and drive back down south of the island because the brewery is actually in beach haven not the town of ship bottom amd good luck after memorial day. It'll take you hours because of traffic tourists for LBI. And Ship Bottom to backward flag is an hour plus. Ive done the commute.

Not trying to burst a bubble here but you're better off doing this........

Tuckahoe/ Pinelands. (30 min parkway) or
    Pinelands/ Ship Bottom. ( hour)
    Backwards Flag/Rinn Duin/Icarus (20 min)

Manaferkin is opening in Manahawkin very very soon on Bay Ave which you can hit pinelands in a 25 min drive on Rte 9 or hit the lbi bridge to ship bottom brewery and get there in like 45 min in the summer.

Ah, gotcha! Usually when I do these things... I use an entire weekend afternoon. So I'll usually be at my first brewery by opening and casually work my way. But I realize that's not realistic for everyone. Might be an indication that I have a problem :grinning:

How do you consider Twin Elephant to be a brew pub?

I don't, Trap Rock is a brew pub. I can't see any good reason not to include brew pubs on lists of breweries to visit.

This may be a bit premature, but Last Wave Brewing and Frye Brewing will be opening I think in the next month or two in Point Pleasant.

If he is in Morris, so is Twin Elephant, thats not a tour, thats something he can hit up on an afternoon without too much of a drive (though depending on where in morris county it could still be 40 mins)

In Morris the Op could very well be closer to Cricket Hill and Magnify than to Twin Elephant.
