Town Hall Barrel-Aged Week Poll

I'll play, & I cast my vote for Buffalo Bock. Almost a toss-up between Buffalo Bock & Twisted Jim, but I'm giving the Bock because, well, I don't really have a reason.

Fun seeing people down at Town Hall every night, but my liver & wallet are thankful this is a once-per-year week.

 

What an amazing week....thanks to the staff.

Who else made it there every night?

 

Only got to try four, but thought the Tumaltuous was the best of them followed closely by the Barrel Monkey. Was not impressed at all with the Wee Jack.

 

was not able to make Friday and Saturday. But my vote is for the Bock, one of the more complete beers I have had in a long time.

 

I loved the boch the most with twisted Jim coming in close, kicking myself for not getting any of the boch

 

I made it there every night. It was nice to see fellow BAs and meet some new ones.

 

I am a sucker for a Barrel aged stout so czar jack edged out Buffalo Bock for me. I made it every night and had a blast! Was great meeting fellow BA's and look forward to events in the future. I thought Town Hall did an awesome job all week!

A bit funny, because if I would have guessed beforehand, the list would have been exactly opposite.

Every one of them was a great beer. I would buy/trade for any of of them in the future!

I think everyone who bought bottles wishes they had purchased two buffalo bocks!

All of them were so good that I would separate them by 1/10 points.

 

I did buy doubles of all, I just gave most of them to my regular trading buddies, traded a few and didn't keep any for myself... I thought the Buffalo would have been a let down but apparently it was the best so now I am kicking myself for not trying it!

 

Sorry, man! I wish I had an extra bottle to share. Hopefully, TH brings it out again before next year!

I went there yesterday around lunchtime. Came out to a ticket on my car (Meter maid must've hit right at expiration) and my buddy's truck had been towed away. The beer was great, though (just a lot more expensive than expected).

Yeah, looks like the City is trying best to recover the loss because of 0 snow emergencies this year.

 

Buffalo Bock is the best, Czar Jack may be my second favorite. Wee Jack was probably my least favorite of the bunch.
