Did you read the OPs post? He can't get Heady and even mentions that.

I'll tell you Aroma Coma is a great one, very tropical but again for a "go to" this won't be good because it is seasonal. I really think Sculpin is the beer, it's still really fruity and tropical even though it seems to have been dumbed down since they started bottling it on a regular basis. Another great one is the Alpine Duet, but again very hard to come by from what I hear. I just love Duet and can't even trade for it because it's not around out there.

Remember there is a difference between fruity and tropical fruity. Two Hearted is fruity (huge orange flaovrs) but has no tropical fruit flavors to it, same goes for Founders Centennial and Racer 5, only racer 5 does have a nice grapefruit flavor to it.

I found Green Flash Palate Wrecker to have a tropical profile, albeit insanely bitter.

Deschutes Hop Henge has a distinct mango flavor profile.

Port Mongo seemed to be pretty tropical.

Seconding the mongo, but lagunitas sucks definitely fits this bill. Can't wait for the year round release.

Sucks and Two-Hearted are the most tropical of brews that I can recall.

Thanks! I should've been more clear, but I am definitely looking for mango, pineapple, guava, passionfruit, melon (SWEET) etc, as opposed to citrusy fruit e.g. orange/lemon/grapefruit (TART).

Also, keep it coming on submissions that aren't as easy to get. I will be seeking these out for myself later...

Might be hard to find, but Funkwerks Tropic King is one helluva tropical saison.

Both have overt pineapple flavors. So you're wrong. Pineapple is tropical.

Actually, per fruitinfo.com pineapple is not a tropical fruit, so you are wrong.

I have no idea if that sight is accurate, and that's not my point. My point with the term "tropical fruit" when used for beer descriptions one would more think of mango, guava and passion fruit more so than pineapple. Two Hearted and Centennial have a more citrus flavor and I would never describe it as tropical.

    My opinion.

    Wrong pineapple is tropical.

Everyone has their own taste. But just for the record, pineapples are DEFINITELY tropical, and I would say they are part of the flavor profile I am looking for.

I think Two-Hearted has an undeniable pineapple flavor. it may taste like candy pineapple, but still close, and of course as most know, delicious. I think Centennial is similar in that regard, and both are single hop brews

If you think the primary flavor of centennial hops/Two Hearted/Centennial IPA is pineapple and tropical fruit, then you need to expand your IPA drinking. Centennial hops are known for citrus flavors of orange and grapefruit. I personally think Two Hearted has a huge prominent orange flavor, not pineapple.

That doesn't even make sense. You're just mad because you are wrong.

Btw, I mentioned pineapple, not tropical fruit in general.

Submissions that aren't easy to get? Fresh Clipper City Loose Cannon (at least where you're at). Ever considered Dale's Pale Ale?
