Track 3/ Red Poppy

Is there any way you would be willing to hook me up with some Red Poppy from the release? Unfortunately I can't drive down to Lost Abbey from LA, then back up to the Reserve Society party. What session are you part of?

Is Red Poppy already in stores? I saw a single bottle in the cooler at Provisions on Friday, but by the time I got around to buying it, it was gone.

 

I don't know what the deal was but I got a taste of the new batch of Red Poppy and it's definitely different from past batches. Perhaps a bad keg but someone also mentioned it was a different recipe this year. Anyone else try and was unimpressed?

 

I was rather unimpressed, but I've never had it before and thus have no basis for comparison. It seemed to me that either the keg was bad, or it needs several months more age...

 

Tasted like Sewer Poppy. Blech!

Track 3 was pretty refreshing.

 

i saw a couple of those in the cooler as well at provisions this weekend. i checked and they were 2011.
