How are people doing this on the new site? I just recently started using my profile status updates to track trades, tracking numbers, etc. but is there somewhere else where people are listing their references like on the old site?
I list all of mine on a Google Document and then post the link in my Information tab under my profile... I'm not the only one either.
Another Google Doc here... Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot less people keeping track of their trading history on the new site. On the old site it was a badge of honor type of thing because people were constantly going to your profile. Now, with wants/gots/reviews on a different site, and the ability to open a short profile pop-up on the page, the traffic the full profile page has got to be way down.
I listed my completed trades in my information section on my profile. Most of the time I just tell BA's to click on "information" to see my past trades. Cheers All.......
Info section, and on spreadsheet on google. I know the new setup is different, but that shouldn't change anything about checking/providing references. If you're going to send many dollars worth of beer across the country, you still need references for your target, and you need to supply them as well. If your target can't seem to supply them, don't trade, or make them ship first. Navigation of the new site is not an excuse or a reason to change the protocol.
I have links to my wants/gots as well as my trade history (stored on my site) on my profile page. I'll probably move it to the information tab soon. I can tell you I have been passing on trades when the other person has nothing listed on their profile or information tab. The current site has been up for almost 3 months now there is no excuse for laziness.
i use a blogspot site, but link it in my profile. i like it because i can easily link and even post pictures for BIFs.
