Is there a database that keeps track of all the trades completed? Been drinking craft beer and brewing for 20+ years, but new to trading. Just looking for some info before I jump into trading.
No database, most people keep their completed trades on their profiles, or links on their profiles. The closent thing we have to a database is the bad trader list: https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub...0cxMHJuRFE&authkey=CNr27MII&hl=en&output=html
People seem to keep tack of their trades and what it's like to trade with the people that they do. It's a pretty honest system, and it seems to work. Just take a look at your potential tradees' profile- see if they're active on the forums, have a bunch of trades under their belt, and are not willing to trade shelf beers for walez. There's always the chance of getting screwed, but it's not very common. Nobody wants to be put on the "bad traders list".
This is a feature I believe they are looking to implement in the future. At this time, though, it's all done through lists on peoples profiles. Some people also keep external lists.
