Trade gone awry...

From the messages posted he clearly agreed to send Assassin & King Sue. IF you don't get those he deserves negative fb. The price of Assassin is his problem, not yours. Imo, the price is neither surprising nor extreme.

Your fb was premature. NEVER leave fb until the trade is completed. If there are problems to be resolved the trade is not completed until you are certain there will be no resolution.

Also, (jmo), leaving neutral fb for no extras is just bogus. Extras are just that. They are not an entitlement.

Imo, he needs to resolve this asap, certainly shortly after the King Sue release. Imo, the only acceptable resolution is sending you the Assassin & King Sue that you mutually agreed upon.

If he doesn't resolve this fairly & to your satisfaction you should edit your fb to reflect that.

You worded your initial fb very poorly. Consider getting another BA assistance in wording it better if you decide to edit it for better or worse.

Communication was lacking. Vague agreements that don't clearly define the responsibilities of both parties are a setup for disaster. Despite that, the agreement clearly indicated that you would receive an Assassin & a King Sue.

I hope your trading partner reflects on all of this & decides to do the right thing. GL.

If @sportmac4 doesn't have an Assassin in possession, that is going to be VERY hard for him to acquire and follow through on for his portion of this trade. And King Sue was supposed to be bottled this week, but it has been postponed (until next week I presume). That will be easier to get, but will still be gone very quickly, so hopefully he is making the trip to the TG taproom to get it. Assassin is the big issue here, as that is something that he said he'd send and if he doesn't already have it, will be very hard to come by. You deserve the Assassin @ScaryHairy44 , just based on what you shipped, as it would take at least 6 King Sue to make up for that!!

 

Considering what I said above about his standing on BA, I'm wondering if he has medical issues or into a debilitating accident or something, in light of this out of office email. Not much you can do, honestly, short of calling his place of employment and tried to pry private information out of them. I personally would not do it and chalk it off as a loss and part of trading risks.
