In my case I don't really consider # of completed trades the last word in these things. I only have 14 completed trades listed but most of my trades are with regular partners and we don't even record our trades on the site anymore. Plus before the site changed I had another 30 or so listed. If somebody was insisting I ship first I guess I would oblige but definitely feel slightly offended. For instance, a little while back when I only had 7-8 listed on the new system a guy with I think 25-30 trades wanted to do a trade and insisted I ship first as he had "much more trade experience and positive feedback" and actually kind of downtalked me like I just fell off the turnip truck yesterday-despite his registration date being much more recent than mine. Needless to say I found another person to make the trade

Holy hell, talk about worst case scenario! At least you didn't lose any beer but what a hassle man!

Depends on whats shipping , locals, easy to get brews etc no problems at all, hard to get ltd release brews maybe you still ship first, but I'm trusting. More than likely we agree on a shipping date and just ship, I've never had a problem.

Maybe it's just me, but the wording "I would insist" rubs me the wrong way from the get go. I would rather "I would ask" or "I would prefer". Just keeps things a bit more cordial to my thinking...
