Trade System Short Circuiting

    The trade system doesn't seem to be working correctly. (Or I'm seriously misunderstanding how it's supposed to work.) Here's what happened:
    1. I clicked the Request Trade button for the person I'm trading with,
    2. He accepted the trade (I surmise),
    3. We completed the trade (offline), and
    4. He left feedback for me.
    The issues seem to be:
    • I was never given an opportunity to leave feedback for him.
    • Neither his nor my trade count has increased.
    Should those things be happening? Is there an additional step that I'm missing?

    If you look at the feedback thread, this has happened (at least) once before.

    I've been busy dealing with web server issues, and it might be related, but I'll investigate (reopen that trade for you) as soon as I get a chance.

    Apologies -- I searched the bug report forum and didn't see anything similar, but didn't look again at the feedback thread.

    Sorry to hear about the server issues, but at least it sounds like it's due to too much traffic, which is way better than too little. :-)

    Any word on getting this straightened out? I'd really like to get that feedback in there -- it was a good trade.
