The boards seem to be flooded with BA Narwhal FT, but I see very little of them ISO. http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...=ba+narwhal&o=date&c[title_only]=1&c[node]=25 Because of that, and the fact that it's nationally distributed, I'd say you can't get back anything too rare. I know BA Bigfoot that was released last year (January 2013ish?) has some demand right now. If you sit on that Narwhal, it might be a more viable trade chip down the line. Just my opinion.
Thanks for the input. I had thought about proposing to trade one of my BA Narwhal's for a regular Abraxas but I wasn't sure whether or not it was in a similar ballpark.
BA Narwhal is great, just drink it, can't imagine it trading for anything that could be better. Wish I had more.
i was in west palm beach today and saw Ba narwhal sitting on a shelf without limits. couldnt believe it. picked one up as i have 2 coming from CA (not realizing it would be available down here). but drinking one right now. i think age will take some of the bite off from the bourbon, but this is night and day different than regular narwhal.
Distro was fairly wide so I'd think trade internist would be minimal, but it's a great beer, just like Parabola which doesn't trade so easily as well. Both are great drink these, you won't trade them for anything better with a stout, maybe shelf IPA's or regular semi ltd. release stuff.
