Trade value of BCBVS?

I'm not even sure what you are talking about? Are you saying I was too generous, or that it would never get done? I'm not really sure if that trade is out of line, but I made it and was happy to do so.

 

I've had CR on a couple occasions, and I see it as a polarizing beer. It's super sweet and there's a good amount of alcohol burn, but I enjoy it, but know others who didnt. Ive never had Vanilla so I don't have a comparison, but personally, i wouldn't trade my CR straight up for a Vanilla. However, i do believe some people may make this trade though, so if you throw an ISO up I bet it can get done. Though you made need to throw in a little to make up $4$. Best of luck OP!

 

I've had both and I prefer CR.

 

If you've had BT and liked it, then you'll like CR just as much. If you haven't had it, expect a lot of booze and a lot of sweetness. Seems like a lot of people love that combo, but I'm not much of a fan.

 

I wouldn't disagree that Chocolate Rain is sweet, but then again Vanilla is incredibly sweet... so I think we're dealing with equal International Diabeetus Units here.

Traded a CBS for one a few months back, 1 for 1. Happy with the trade.

 

I think that's reasonable, had a Vanilla last month and it was phenomenal.

 

I recently traded BCBVS+KH for NG Bourbon Barrel Kriek + Gueuze. I was happy with the trade. I believe the recipient was as well.
