Just drink the beer. Does every single thing, including beer, have to have some value besides how much we can enjoy it for what it is?

And for those who constantly chime in "just do it, profit from it, it's your right as citizen of a capitalist society", trust me capitalism will not fall off a cliff if every one doesn't every time capitalize to the maximum possible on every profit making opportunity.

i don't want to get into it, but i suspect you're not appreciating that there's different possible scenarios surrounding employees buying rare releases. some of them are offensive (fire-worthy even), some aren't. may want to think that over before bestowing your opinion.
