I wish I had an opportunity to try FOb1 when it was released. It's the one I haven't had.

Actually just moved to Chicago from Pasadena haha. Now that my last bottle is gone, I regret every bottle of FOb3 I traded away

Has anyone seen a trade for Fremont brew 1000 or 2000 barleywine? If so, what did it take? I'm assuming it was VERY limited. How many 19 prairie bourbon paradises would it take? Is it not really that hard to trade for? Thanks!

Not a big trader, but a couple years back, my trading partner figured he could trade a b1k, 1 for 1, for a ba Abraxas. Might take a bit more than that to get a b1k these days.

Personally, I didn't feel the b2k was quite as good as the b1k; or at least it needed a bit more time to come around. The stuff I had on tap here in portland was very sweet and boozy (the b1k was amazing right from the "giddy up"). My point being, that you might not have to pony up as much for a bottle of b2k. Good luck.

I traded for a Brew 2000 back in December 2017, 1:1 for a Hill Farmstead Aaron (batch 3). I drank it for my birthday in January. Drank it over 3 hours. Thought it was outstanding.

Need some Cantillon guidance, are LPK and d'Aunis roughly 1:1 or is one harder to land than the other?

B2K was one of the best beers I had last year. I traded an Aaron b3 for it, if that gives you any idea. However, I believe its value has gone up over time. It might be like 4ish Bourbon Paradises value-wise... but it might be difficult to find someone with B2K who wants that many BPs.

That helps. How many bourbon paradise do you think it would take for Aaron?

Depends on which batch of Aaron, but most recent, I would think 2+ to 3.

As far as B2k, I'll weigh in some. This beer is tasting fantastic right. I do agree with @William_Navidson that value wise b2k is probably around 4 bourbon Paradise and that it would be difficult to get someone to trade a B2k with just bourbon Paradise

Thoughts on BA Henna Marshmallow + Tape Rock 19 (500ml) for BA Coco Vibes?

Close but probably short. Seems holders of BA Coco Vibes are holding for more aggregate bottle value or one single, larger value bottle.

Thought that might be the case. Thanks for the feedback.

Seems straightforward to me and I'd do this 1:1 (if I had either). I guess it all depends what the limits will be for CSV on Saturday. BG&E was 4 pp at $22, CSV is $20 and TBD per person. If the limit is much more, not sure what past limits for CSV varieties have been, but I could see a small plus requested by BG&E side, but nothing crazy. Good luck.

    Thanks @M-Fox24
I don't have any info about perceived values, but this is exactly the type of trade that I do often. Basically equal retail price with basically equal potential quality and rarity. BG&E : CSV for 1:1 makes sense.
