Not sure why anyone would take the time to implicitly start an auction in this thread when it seems like it's just as acceptable to do so pretty explicitly in the trading forum (right?).

No. I think he was suggesting that it goes on regularly in the trade forums, but isn't moderated despite rules against it.

 

I offered Chaos Grid + MTVHM. He stated he was looking for something more on the line of 4-6: 1

 

Apparently? I feel like there's at least a few occurring at any given time on page 1 of the Limited forum.

 

hahaha you kids sure are funny. I'm not running an auction or trying to trade anything I was simply trying to gauge the value of a few beers that seem to have taken a dive recently. If the admins here see anything at fault I'm certain the post would have been quickly deleted.

I never asked for his 4-6 beers he offered a couple MT beers and I simply told him I'm already a member and not looking for MT beer. Like all the other kids who can't play with the shiny new toy he went away angry and sad.

All I'm looking for is a few good drinkers in trade. Example one of my last trades was for a few Jackie O bottles for BBDS. Now only if I can find someone who has some good rum barrel beers and I'm all set...

 

Technically yes they are allowed. I completely disagree with this, but not my website so not my rules. I just choose to block or not trade with those folks. See link below.

Auctions are allowed. It's definitely poor form though.

Thanks. Yeah, saw the post above and recall the thread from it. My memory failed me, but I don't reread the trading rules/updates that often.

 

Yeah but you weren't, despite several attempts to have you elaborate on specific ISOs, not even giving general ideas.

If you want dollar values for your bottles you should be using FB. Asking for "value" of your bottles without any other context is essentially asking for dollar value (while implying ISO: auction!)

 

You know, it would be helpful to state what you are looking to get for them in trade....then people can chime in on how close you are...

This is disappointing.

 

My exact post was "Anyone have an update on the below?" I never asked for dollar values implied I was looking for anything or said give me your offers. I got a reply from my post showing what a Maman traded for and that's that.

Are you always this much if a ninny or just campaigning to be a moderator lol..

 

What's truly disappointing is a member who has made 40 trades and doesn't support the forum for less than $2 a month.

Answering my question is FREE and you have not stepped up....

You know, it would be helpful to state what you are looking to get for them in trade....then people can chime in on how close you are...
