Trade Value Thread (2019)

Anyone have any opinions on the value of the two new Dark Lord variants that have been double barreled? The RBA DVR and BBA DVR? I'm looking at picking up a bottle, but wondering what fair trade or cash value is for them.

I'd think the Handjee '17 would be about 1/2 a VR unit short.

 

I had no luck trading for Ann now moving on to Art b4. Would BBT2 1:1 or do I need a plus?

 

If I'm trying to trade 19 Handjee for KBBS how far off would I be? Would adding Fundamental Observation 18' and DL De Muerte 17 get it done or would I need a lot more? Also, would Coconaughty white wax trade for MD5? Just trying to finally get some TG stouts.

 

Would ba moon butter and modern times could daggers pull a ba sump?

Not off at all. Very good offer, if anything I would think the sump side would add a can or 2.

Im considering trying for A Thousand Summers, but Ill need to 'trade up' (per usual for me).

Would The Broken Truck 5 + The Anniversary + HF GOM Duver Rojas (so 1:3) get me close? My 3 are probably simpler to land with easier beers than Thousand Summers, but maybe the right set of eyes?

I think this is good. You may get some overlap with the dG as for some reason, it seems like a lot of SARA members are members of dG. However, those 1pp HF bottles are hard to pry away from people - and rightfully so.

As someone who’s traded an Iris for Tree House hops, it’s closer to 8:1 Iris. Iris is one of the least sought after Cantillon beers so you might have a hard time getting 12. But 8 is reasonable.

Assassin 19 trades for more than ‘18, so you’re definitely closer to ‘18. However, due to perceived lack of desirability for Brosure, you may not even be able to go 1:1 with Assassin 18.

FYI, I have all 3 bottles and I wouldn’t trade either Assassin for Brosure. Brosure just has a negative perception enough (whether warranted or not) that no one feels compelled to trade their Assassin for it.
