No, Im looking for a reply and if its interesting to me then ill post a trade request. I have twins coming in a few weeks and have a toddler. Quantity that I can chip away at over weeks seems more appealing to me right now then getting smashed off a BAA or Maman in a couple nights.

Im looking for legit replies of value. if they dont sound good ill just go buy some Narrow Gauge.

I mean how many cans were you looking for? It wouldn't work out because it would cost to much to ship that many cans and then you would have to drink them all. I seen someone looking to trade a little at a time to make up for a big bottle which might work out. But you would have to figure cost of shipping plus the cans to work out a fair deal.

if i knew how many cans i was thinking i wouldnt have posted in a trade value forum requesting to know ratio.

You make a good point, i hadnt thought about sheer volume.

It does sound interesting. I mean if an average can was $5 I would say 25-30 cans in 4 shipments at $15 USPS med flat rate make sense. But it all depends on the cans and brewery. Treehouse cans are relatively cheaper so you could get more cans but cost of shipping would go up for large flat rate. At the same time no one wants to pay more than it would cost to get a Maman at secondary prices either and deal with the hassle of getting the beers in the first place. Good luck regardless, but let me how it does work out sounds interesting.

heck, or rather hell, I was just posting last month about people not trading large for Tree House. I am interested in Sour beers- ( Side Project, Jester King, 3F, Degarde, Cantillon) If you want TH or Trillium beers, I'd be interested in a conversation.

@Gregwilsonstl The above would be my advice.

I would honestly offer BAA + 2 or 3 small bottles (depending on exactly how you feel and which bottles), or BAA and some NG. In return, I would ask for 24 cans, shipped as 4 shipments of 6, at intervals that you guys can work out. Your 1-2 extra beers cover the cost of shipping, and you get beers fresh at a time that works better for you. They get a BAA and effectively “thank you beers.” Only thing is you need to find someone that has decent access to TH, and more importantly, has a good enough reputation to do this.

I have done something similar, where a friend sent me some whales. Technically I don’t “owe” him because he wanted to send them to me, and technically I want to send him everything that I do, but it works out well for me to send him a box every couple months. That friendship is one that extends out from BA, but started here. I know this won’t be for everyone.

    Good luck!

Why did you have to post something like this?

I have a weak spot for Trillium ipas/dipas, and I happen to have pretty good access to JK and dG stuff. Plus, we recently got a sizeable drop of 3F from Shelton not too long ago, and there's still a lot of it around town.

So yes, I might be interested in having a conversation with you. Need to tell you up front however, that I only do $4$ trades/exchanges.

That's fine as long as you are not only looking for 10 cans of King Julius! LOL. I am sure you are not, but I did once get a $4$ trade request (not on Beer Advocate) where a guy wanted KJ in volumes that even people with 6 grandma mules couldn't get!

I just recently traded for a bunch of sours, but the next time I am looking for some, I will send you a message.

Sounds good, and no worries about King Julius. For whatever reason, I've never been a huge fan of TH IPA's. Also, I just like trying different things, so typically I wouldn't be interested in more than a can or two of anything. Thanks.

Per my post above, I am thinking about. TH (their everyday IPAs, nothing special) at $4$. If you’re interested in anything else besides sours, shoot me a message and we can try to work it out.

I can do 16 sixteen ounce cans in a large flat rate box. Two cases would be $60 to ship. That's $1.25 a can

Bovine is high - anywhere from 1 to 1.75

People were offering up island vacation on FB for c+s+thank you beers. I do not think that would happen now...think you could trade for one from .5 to .75 VRU.

damn are you really able to get 6+ cans in a med flat rate box that easily? One layer of bubble wrap and nothing else would make it hard to fit in that box i feel like.
