Discussing the following trade and want to get some feedback. Also was the beat $20 at release.

Me:. Beatification x2 (March 18) + Balaton b2

Them: 2x 4 packs of Trillium cans + BA Adjunction Junction

 

The last time I was up at RR beatification was $20 but it’s been sold out for awhile now.

 

If I'm looking for Malibu Medianoche, would 2 bottles of Bottle Logic (non-FT, PCC, or ED) be a fair offer, overkill, or still under? Or would I have a better shot with BL and a 4pack of fresh Monkish?

 

I did 2 BL when it was first released. However nothing hard to find like PCC or ED as mentioned. I think it was Bastion and another recent release that wasn't too hard to find.

I did just drink my Malibu this weekend and can say I wasn't impressed. Not much coconut or vanilla at all. Just a really strong rum barrel taste that killed everything else. I had BA Black Lotus at the same time and wow the difference between the 2 beers was amazing. The Malibu had about 1/4 left that got poured out.

I would seek out some MT rum barrel offerings like Monsters Park or Modem tones instead. I have both in the fridge tried both and it was so much better and not as hard to trade for either. Cheers!

 

Thoughts on BAA 18 and Maman 18 for KBBS b4? Am I close (I’m on the perennial side)?

No need for explanation, just asking if it was possible. I know the post-15 releases are quite common, but I wasn't sure if the 13 and 14 releases had held enough value to pull up the overall trade of 6:1.
