True. But I wonder how rare 2 year actually is in regards to the number of actual bottles produced vs rye?

If (and that’s a huge if) a friend wants to let go of a Starve B, could it go for a mixed bag of bourbon county variants?

I don’t think rarity makes a difference because if that were the case a lot of other things would be worth more.

We'd all really like to know that but Goose won't ever let us know production numbers. It's especially true for double barrel, as they are creating an mystique around it by not doing a traditional release which is why that is commanding a lot for trades.

It does when it comes to well known breweries. There are for sure lesser known breweries who don't produce a ton of a special beer, but because they don't have the hype it's not going to command a lot in trade or secondary.

I have read that they did produce 16,000 tubes for double barrel. How factual that is, I do not know. Also they would probably create a decent amount of extra tubes

Stands to reason, I mean they've had all kinds of double and triple barrel stuff on draft numerous times in the past, (it's why I didn't really care about that variant this year), so I don't think it takes much for them to do that kind of treatment tbh.

Sorry for delay, had to hear back from them. They were thinking any kind of possible fair combination of midnight orange, rittenhouse reserve, barleywine, coffee barleywine, wheatwine, bramble. Really have no foundation on even where to start. Thanks!

If you guys had an open trade that's pretty much grounds for negative feedback especially if he blocked and was a dick about things.

You might have to go international on it but I'd strike while the iron is hot since it looks like that variant is trading pretty high now.

Seen a lot of crazy offers for LPK that are getting crickets. Seems easier to land a KBBS.

Thoughts about how short Maman 18 + Tete v16 is for Samuel?

Where does Aslin El Rio line up with Voodoo Black Magicks?

Would it be 1:1 with blue, green, silver or black?

This shouldn't be all that hard since the Horus beer (like all Horus beers) gets inflated by their members and then the ratings get dragged down to where they should be. I don't know where Xul is now but it IMHO is in the top 3 beers that league members (not theory) got. I think Xul might have made to the public but didn't last long.

Now that the Tilquin Pinots/Cassis/Myrtille have shown up in US distro, has the trade value greatly diminished? Was wondering if I could pull a Westly or something along those lines for one of the Tilquin. Thx

Does anybody have an idea of the value of a Hill Farmstead Norma Elderberry? I know there aren’t many out there. I landed a bottle in a trade and wanted to see what it fetches and whether I should just drink it.

I am looking for HF saisons (mainly unfruited) in return, if I decide to trade it. Is this in the unfruited Flora level? 2x Vera Mae? 2x Civil Disobedience?

Open to Tete 2015/2016 as well.

Pinot Gris will probably trade the highest of the bunch but it will not pull a Westly. West Ashley though, absolutely. If you’re looking for something really good along those lines I’d seek out West Ashley b16. Really balanced with low acidity and IMO better than the recent Westly batch.
