Trade was made on the burritos page. And trade value is much different than secondary value. Take SBVG with a grain of salt.

While there are a lot of secondary values on SBVG, you can still find a lot (definitely more than on BA) of closed trades there, too.

I had one and traded it.

I got back 2019 Assassin + MDB6 + pulpit rock cans for the one bottle. Value is around 300 bucks.

this was about half a year ago but think it’s held pretty steady

Sorry this is a lot less obscure than most things posted on here but I'm new. I have heady topper and focal banger and am interested in trying pliny the elder. How do the trade values of these beers compare/is there a ratio that seems fair?

Only problem is that at least Southern California just got both of those alchemist cans at most bottle shops. I imagine the same for California throughout. With the growing concern for covid 19 a lot of shops have got their shipping down solid for cheap. I'd recommend buy direct instead of trading for it.

I'm in agreement with @Bhubbard34, but here's another thing to consider. I like HT and FB just fine, but this still isn't a trade that would interest me. I'm assuming you probably live back in New England, and so it would cost me more to ship two crowlers of Pliny then the actual cost of the beer (which I can get for $10.50 a piece). I'm assuming it's gonna be the same on your end if not more. My point being that I just don't want to go to the trouble of obtaining those two crowlers (for example), box them up and drive them over to ups or fedex, and ultimately pay close to $50, for a couple of 4 packs of heady and FB. My guess is that most would be traders are going to see this the same way.

If at all possible, I would follow @putonadourwalkingshoes advice and try to see if you can buy some Pliny direct. Good luck.

Thoughts on a crowler of Shamrock Stout (packaged 3/14 at GI) for Hypermash Hydra? Shamrock Stout is BCBS w/ mint, chocolate, vanilla, and lactose. The crowler is 25.4 oz. How's that a crowler? I wondered the same thing.

I realize this will likely take someone specifically interested in this beer. I looked at Completed Trades thread and didn't see one for Hydra yet. Browsed the trade forum to see what it's going for and it's all over, including bigger lambic for multiple bottles, so hard to tell.

Is it the 2020 shamrock? Think that could easily go 1:1, maybe right set of eyes - someone who really likes mint.
I think those 25.4oz crowlers is what forager does, but ends up being 750ml.
In regards to hydra, it has gotten wide distro now in Cali, but trades still seem all over the place.

It is 2020. I grabbed it from GI on that Saturday they released it right as shit was getting weird. Already shared one with friends that night. Only reason I'm considering trading this one is that I don't want to drink the whole thing to myself. I'm not a huge fan of mint stouts, but this is very good. If you like BCBS and you like Thin Mints, then this is in your wheelhouse.

And yeah, from what I can gather online, Hydra has now seen distro.

While it's seen distribution in CA I can attest that I hunted bottle shops all this week and I heard no place advertising that they got a case unlike other BL releases. I got lucky at one shop as a friend held one for me but he said they didn't even bother putting it on their instagram because they got so little.

La Bodega in Riverside got at least three cases. So others in LA were definitely getting more than a case. Additionally, city beer store in San Fran was allowing 3pp for online orders. Because of the current hype and current landscape, probably best that shops are not promoting this beer.

I think city beer was the only place they had it in SF and that was crazy that they allowed 3pp, wasn’t complaining. That sold out very quickly. Haven’t seen it anywhere in the Bay, only some places in Sacramento I believe which was 1pp.

    Hey, friends.

I really want to land a bottle of the most recent vintage of Vig with that new sexy label. Am I close with a Cognac Vanilla Barrel Aged Sunday Brunch?

    Cheers!

On the topic of hypermash hydra...
Would it pull in any other big stouts, or is it not big enough?
    (I know that’s a little vague).

Sorry, but this isn’t particularly close. Interns of BA Brunches, you’re probably looking at between 2-3 for a Vig. I think either 2 with a plus would make sense, or so would 3 variants with a plus on the Vig.
