I believe pliney for president is ddh pliney the elder and only available in cans from RR, no distro.

 

It's still available at the brewery and AC is allowing proxies. Should be able to close $4$ which is ~67 retail.

 

So the set is 70ish MSRP?

Thanks, I only knew what secondary price was and when I called AC they were kind of dicks and hung up on me. Honestly that little bit of drama makes me want the beer less but I still wanna try it and help a friend out so I may have to pay tax. Whatever.

RR is shipping all over ca at the moment. Pliny for president was available as a whole case of cans ( sold out quickly) and as part of a mixed case of cans. It's out there and shouldn't be too hard to trade for

 

Correct. I was more so making a point that PtE was in a bottle was not the same as PfP in a can.

 

I see what you mean. Ya PfP will probably have a slight premium above the $4$ that Pliny trades at. But its not super rare and I'd guess anyone who ordered a case would be happy to trade some off for interesting out of state stuff

 

Have an OWA Store Pick I’m considering trading. I’m just unsure how exactly it translates trading for beer. Would this and a plus like a Rare ‘15 be close to a Starry Noche or Monsters Park S’mores? Or would there still be a gap in value?

 

AC does a really great job of detailing stuff on their social media outlets. Almost all questions can be answered through that.

 

At one point there was a lambic valuation discussion which I can't seem to locate. I'm not too familiar with the cantillon hierarchy and am curious if bottles like Nath, Fou, Brab, or Vig would trade for midnight still and variants (new and old). In this hypothetical, I would be on the lambic side. Full disclosure, I have none of the said bottles.

 

I saw someone trade 2 bottles of fou foune for 1 of the new holy mtn hand of glory that was just released, pretty crazy.

Depending on the midnight still I'd say 1 to 1 isn't out of line for all of those cantillon bottles except Brab. The rarity factor of Brab seems like people are more hesitant to trade it away and are asking a lot.

 

Potentially have a Weller Full Proof coming. Like the above poster, I don't know how it translates to beer trading. Do I have a shot at any of these: MP S'mores, Monster Tones, BACSV, BBT, Starry Noche?

Or am I way off? Pretty uneducated here with bourbon for beer trades.

 

Looking for a big non adjunct BA stout in trade for these two below. Any thoughts on what I'd be looking at in return?

Depends on the right set of eyes, but you can look at Gold Wax Assassin, OG Rare, BBADL, maybe Ardea Insignis. There are also the StL usual suspects (Maman 17, BBT1). Blanking on others. I think the challenge will be to find someone with one of these higher value bottles that wants to let it go for your 2 specific beers. Good luck.

 

Very roughly:
Maybe a small plus needed for BBT3 or Monster Tones.
Almost another FP needed for BBT2.
Starry should be close to 1:1 but it’s been trending up.
You could get BA CSV and a decent plus.

 

So how hard is BL hydra to get these days? Anything below could go 1:1?
