    Some probing question
    1. Are you specifying what years/batches are ft/ISO?
    2. Trying local and national bourbon groups?

With bourbon it almost always seems easier to buy/sell than try to trade - most people who do it, do it to profit, not necessarily to drink.

    Much like sneakers.

Before we thank our lucky stars, beer is creeping ever closer to this level of shitlordery...

1: Yes for my FT (2018 Lot B, 2019 ORVW) but not for my ISO which should make it easier
2: I've strictly tried on BA and one national bourbon group, but I'm pretty sure it's the biggest bourbon group there is. Not aware of any local groups but I'm sure they exist, just too under the radar for me to find.

I figured I'd get someone who'd do the trade even if just for the purposes of doing it because they could sell my bottles for more than theirs. I know it'd be easier to just sell and buy (plus I'd come out with extra cash) but that encourages shitlords and I don't like that.

Honestly I've only done one other bourbon trade and it was a far more even trade, and for a much more obscure bottle, and that trade was so easy to close that I might've gotten a false sense of how easy it would be.

It's the same problem that frequently happens when people want to trade up with beer, you'd be better off selling your bottles and buying than trying to find that rare person who wants to trade down.

How does Voodoo Zangief Bourbon compare to the Rye and Tawny Port variation. Is it similar in value? I see those two traded a lot but rarely the bourbon.

More specifically how far off is it in trading for these beers. What would either side have to add?

    Perennial Anniversary 2018
    Morning Vibes
    Assassin 2019

I'd put bourbon as the most valuable, but very similar in value to the Rye. It's just a fantastic beer.

I can't speak to perennial anniversary. But coincidentally I traded a porto and a rye zangief for a morning vibes. I think you'd need to add quite a bit to get an assassin 2019.

    I'm back.

How does chemtrail mix compare to BBTb3? Any batches of chemtrail that stand out?

As far as how people prefer them from a vintage standpoint, Chemtrailmix 18 > 17 > 19. They are all similar bottle release numbers wise ~1500-1600 bottles. 17 and 18 are pretty close in which one I like more, personally. Difference in those two is 17 was aged in bourbon barrels whereas 18 was in rye whiskey. 19 was also rye whiskey but it was a lot more cinnamon forward than either of the previous two (at least right when it was released. By this point it might have mellowed a bit). Trade wise, 19 appears to be the most attainable, but all 3 are great and you won’t go wrong trading for any of them.

Yea bourbon is really dumb sometimes. You could easy move both your bottles for money and then just buy the bottle you are looking for.

What is it taking to land a bottle of Fellowship of Xul?

Do you think a combo of prop ‘19 + ‘19 2-year reserve can land it or do I need more on my end? Not sure on bottle counts for Xul

Yeah that should do it the count for Xul was remarkably high like 3000 bottles and it might have even made it to public sale for a brief moment although that particular monthly sale had some massive issues during the internet sale. Prop 19 1:1 was getting it done I believe a month ago. Don't know it times have changed all that much.

That's pretty ridiculous that's what adwtd has become. Endless endings made it to so cal and even the cheapest beer shops were charging $40 for a 375ml that's prob the worst I've ever seen for ounce/$ ratio on a distributed beer. I doubt anything will change since it's Alaska and they make barleywines well. I had the privelage of scoring b2 on the shelf here years and it was the best barleywine I've ever had even better than a good year of Aaron.

Would a Hill Farmstead CD 10, CD 15, or Works of Love: Sante be able to pull a bottle like GTS, THH, or WLW?

    Thanks.

DBH 2 would be 1:1, that beer doesn’t have much value at least locally in Florida. B1 is 5 times as valuable about. multiples should close BAA 19. New batch of MD should be close to 1:1, maybe with a plus on the pty side. FO for sure, and the shelf turds (CBS/KBS/BCBS) I wouldn’t bother on your side since you can probably get them at the store

Xul is super weird. I’ve heard stellar reviews, there was a pretty high bottle count, and I’ve seen a lot of reasonably priced, even cheap, sales. I haven’t been able to find a trade around that same value though, seems to mostly be moving in sales

I'm really curious how something like Endless Ending is literally everywhere, but ADWTD has become a beer almost exclusively hoarded by traders. I really have a hard time believing only that crowd snatched up the entire stock, even with the well-moneyed loonies flying up there just to camp out for it and leave the next day.

Non of them could pull a WLW alone, maybe all three. WoL: SARA could probably get you a GTS it THH. The other two, I would suspect no.
