    Are there?

AFAIK this was the first run of EE.

They've made ADWTD I don't know how many times (my first bottle was a 2014 bomber and it wasn't that hard to get) and it just seems like they release fairly large quantities of it, just with different variations primarily based on barrel type.

not sure how much TO they made, but the box set was pretty limited (443), they released 383 DO and sent a small amount besides that to Tavour, B3 bourbon was like 200 bottles from one single barrel. EE had two runs of tavour with high limits, saw a pretty decent sized distro, and a release at anchorage

And that contained BW, which I have to assume was more ADWTD...?

I was informed that most of TO went down to Australia oddly enough. I don't know how valid that rumor is. I wish I traded for DO back when it was going almost 1:1 with FO years back now it's just too costly above VR levels

This is what I read happened, in a jist: a bunch of profiteering a-holes complained that $100 a bottle for the beer that they were going to flip for 10X that much, was an unreasonable charge by the brewer. So in typical neck beard fashion, they complained and bitched and moaned until the brewer basically said, 'ok, go f*** yourself because I'm selling the TO all to Australia market instead'. The end.

And then the whole continent ignited.

    Too much fire.

it was blended before being aged based on the description. I don’t get what you’re getting at man. Bottom line there is a lot more of Endless than any specific batch of ADWTD. If you’re counting all bottles of ADWTD ever then there’s more of that, but I’d call each iteration different beers because the barrel it’s in does change the beer significantly, as well as the “rarity” piece changing the value

yeah Gabe was like “fuck y’all”, sent some to China too. I believe some did end up being sold at anchorage unannounced.

that’s also because FO had more value then. VR is also dropping in value too since it’s on the decline from what I’ve heard. DO was awesome when I had it though

I don't really think it does very much at all, particularly in the case of ADWTD. Especially considering most people haven't the slightest idea whatsoever since so few people have ever had the opportunity to do a side by side of any variation of them.
This is the only part increasing the value IMO, but I think it's about to slip into the Mexican Cake territory where there will just have been too many barrel variations and not enough care to CATCH EM ALL!

I just can't stand the ridiculous nature of the rate of inflation in the secondary value of some beers. ADWTD is a great beer to be sure, but it skyrocketed with insane acceleration for no reason, IMO. Particularly for a brewery whose other beers are pretty lackluster, to bad. Some of their saisons are just so phenolic, and the rose hip one is unbelievably terrible.

For being way up in AK, their stuff gets pretty widely distributed and they make a good amount, particularly in regards to ADWTD relative to the amount of people that actually drink barleywine. Defending the practices of how one of their beers got to where it is now and its current secondary value isn't something I can get behind.

Hoping to land a bottle of Cantillon LPG or 3F Golden Blend.
My sense is that LPG is a bit higher up the food chain, but not sure ??.
For the foundation of my offer is a 750 of Side Project Black & Wild (batch 3).
...and I have the following as options to add to this:
    2019 SPON 3yr (375ml)
    Possibly a SPON fruit
2015 De Dolle Oerbier Special Reserva (330ml)
    2017 Jackie O's Collab w/ Crooked Stave (500ml)
    2013 BCBS (12oz)
20?? To Ol - Sans Frontiere (Wine Barrel Aged) (375ml)
+ Access to Dallas/FtWorth are stuff
Is this a legit list of possible adds? Would I need to add more than one bottle to the SP B&W to make either happen. (I'm assuming a 3F OGV is out of reach with this list).
Am I way off base with the above? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

3F golden blend disappeared for a couple years and recently resurfaced. I'm not entirely sure how the older bottles are valued compared to more recent. Here in so cal there's at least one bottle shop nearby that sells them at a terrible markup of $30 for a 375ml bottle of golden blend but maybe that's just how drie fonteinin is getting. I bought a 750ml of hommage bio frambozen for $60 (splitting it w some buddies). That was a one time thing and I doubt expect prices for drie fonteinin will go anywhere but up since cantillion flies off the shelf and it's the next best in line when you can get cantillion here.

Your black and wild should get it done no problem considering these golden blends have just been sitting on the shelf here and likely elsewhere too

    ...at 30 for a 375 3F GB, seems I'd need to offer an ADD for a 750?
Do you think I could get a 750 of LPG done instead, in the same scenario?

LPG is going to be a lot harder to trade for. I can't recall if we got any 750ml of the golden blend, but if we did they aren't around anymore. I believe the 750ml of golden blend are a bit more sought after but not all that much more.

Very helpful..Thanks! If I can ask one more question, would the SP B&W be enough to land a Cantillon CSG, or would that require an add as well?

Guys if this ain't where I post this question please let me know where. I'm trying to find out what I'd have to trade for Elmer t Lee. Do I have to trade beer that adds up to the secondary value of etl? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I traded my Elmer T Lee for 3 bottles of Appervation if that gives you an idea. I think I’ve seen offers of BAA ‘19 for ETL so that’s more of a 1:1 example. Make a good offer of limited beers, and think about what beers someone who actually has an ETL would want instead of their bourbon, rather than worrying too much about secondaries.

Did you get lucky and find your etl in the wild for a good price. I'm on the hunt and in contact with multiple stores but man it's scarce. Any advice?

Your offering way too much. It should be close to 1:1 for either of those.
