How far off/close am I with the following beers using North Park’s Wild Thai Banana Macaroons Before Dying as an anchor?
    • Works of Love SARA (any batch/were there multiple batches?)
    • Clover (b1/b2)

No idea how far or close since I’m terrible on valuations, but there is/was only one batch of WoL SARA. That beer does sound delicious though. Good luck.

You would need 2 NP Wild Thai Banana to get a conversation started for WOL SARA and the right set of eyes. You are short on both Clover as well. You are short a Hypermash Hydra for Clover 1 and at least 2 Hypermash for Clover b2 if not more. Having said that, you would most likely need a bigger anchor to get a conversation started for any of these beers. And from what I see these rare Hill beers are most likely to trade for other rare Hill beers or lambic.

How close is Nillerzzzz B3 to DB BCBS? Either side need to add, or is it a fair swap 1:1?

Pretty much 1:1 some will say nillerzzzz would need to add something small but I think it’s an even trade.

Any thoughts on if the ADWTD wooden box could be traded for beer? I’ve never traded brewania for beer and was curious on what it might be able to fetch. I could potentially include the EMPTY bottles from the set along with the box. Would this land limited releases or just shelf beer?

Hey all! New to trading. SoCal native, I have access to anything in the LA area and surrounding, also a Bruery member. Browsing the forums it seems everyone is ISO the same stuff from out East, what in my area tends to be sought after? I'd like to try some of the big hitters but I'd want to trade things that are sought after in exchange of course.

only bruery beer that was sought after recently was Chocolate Reign. Monkish trades really well especially relative to other IPAs. They started to release some barrel aged beers which have gotten a lot of hype. Bottle Logic doesn’t trade like it used but you can still get some decent stuff for it or proxy pick up and get thank you beers. Modern Times stouts trade really well but the ones that do are usually the member beers or beer that sell out to the members before they reach a public sale

Only problem with Monkish is you never knew exactly what you're going to get from them these days. That being said, they're pretty consistently high quality. Thanks though! Definitely still doing my research on what's nearby

Hey guys, new to trading here (East Coaster). I recently won the Tree of Life Port lottery from Tree House and I’m looking to trade It for something more of my taste. Would a 1:1 Tree of Life Port for Mornin’ Delight be achievable? Or am I gonna have to throw in a couple more beers? FTW, Tree of Life Port is a single production brew and their first brew from their barrel aging program (Barleywine, 13.2%).

I would think that 2020 Black Tuesday box would be sought after,I'm looking for one myself actually.

I traded good beer for Morning Delight a few years ago and to this date I still consider it my worst trade ever. On that note shouldnt be a problem for you just offer to ship first in your thread.

Any reason for that? What year MD?

I thought MD 2016 was decent and 2018 was significantly better, really great. Variation to be expected year to year. I’d get MD again, no question.

Any whisperings on how MD 20 is holding up?

Not sure which iteration you're referring to (as I hear MD in particular has gone up and down over the years) but agreed entirely, in regards to the 2017 (the 12oz one). Burnt, stale coffee for days.

Yeah surprisingly it was 2018 which I know was a good year but prob as rmpic mentioned like a lot of beers possibly a bottle to bottle variation. It wasn't bad just pretty average for a maple coffee stout that I could find similar on the market without paying TG prices.

I think regarding trading, BA stouts have ruined my love for non-BA stouts making it hard for me to want to trade off BA stouts for non-BA. The last non-BA stouts that wowed me were pastry stouts from The Answer and More Brewing and that was years ago.

What is the trade value of LPK and Blabaer in Europe? Would an Assassin land a LPK or Blabaer (750ml) in Europe? Just wondering if it makes sense for me to hold off for an in-person trade in Europe for these two.

Back in Oct. 2019 I was able to trade an Assassin '19 for an LPK '16 + 3F Geuze stateside. But I got really lucky in that I found someone who was looking to trade the LPK on the boards already. I believe that if I had posted the exact same trade out there it would have likely gotten crickets. I base that on the fact that it is so hard to find folks with LPK and then those that are willing to let them go. The other two LPKs I've been able to land were a LPK '12 by trading a BAA '18 (IP in Chicagoland area) and an LPK '15 which I got through an expanded trade with other Perennial stouts (this one was international). It's one of my favorite beers and whenever I see one up for trade I try to jump on it. I think you might have better luck abroad and it really comes down to finding someone willing to let it go. My apologies as this is a very long winded way of saying that I think it is definitely possible to trade an Assassin for an LPK because I've done it myself. Depending on values at the time you are looking to trade, the year Assasin you have and if more LPK gets released or not a plus might be needed on either side, but the Assassin should at least get the conversation started.
