Even without much trade value, there will definitely be people out there seeking things like Fonta Flora occasionally (like me!) because they make some high quality beers at decent prices, and are happy to offer great locals in exchange. I’ve traded things like Referend, Forest & Main, Tired Hands for FF in the past. Doesn’t hurt to try.

Is Monster Tones B3 relatively close to KBBS? How much would I have to add to close that trade? I'm on the MT side. It's tough because I only see those two bottles move for cash or bourbon, not really for beer

Pretty close to 1:1. Feel like might need a small plus since new KBBS goes for higher at release, then drops to around Monster Tones level.

Question about West Ashley which I don't see a lot of activity here these days. How close is this for one of the following:
    Medianoche coconut 2020
    Fellowship of Xul 2020
    BA Everett 2020

Does Floodland Riesling (2020) & Seekers After Light straight 2:2 for BCBS Anniversary & Birthday? Not sure whether it is more or less to that. How about 2 Floodland to ANTEAD 2020 bottle sets as well. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

West Ashley could close BA Everett 1:1 (although seeing a Hill farmstead tax with this bottle), but would need to add for Xul. Coconut medianoche would require 2 West Ashley probably with a plus.

You could get a nice plus in addition to Anni + Bday for those 2 Floodland. Not sure about the ANTEAD.

Could certainly see these 1:1 and don't think “Hill tax” comes into play. Same price I believe, $25, but WA is 2pp, whereas BA Everett had an unspoken/unannounced case limit or so. Like minded trader gets this done.

I have not traded in years because I don't drink as much beer these days, and local breweries have plenty of good stuff. However, Apple Brandy Hunahpu was the first BA beer I ever tried when it was on tap at CCB back in the early days.

So, I could use some advice on what kind of ratios people think would be fair for 1-2 AB Hunas based on what I can offer from my cellar:

    Fou Foune 2013
    Lou Pepe Gueze 2010 Sticker
    Lou Pepe Kriek 2010 Sticker
    Lou Pepe Kriek 2011 Sticker
    St. Lamvinus 2013
    Iris 2014
    Vigneronne 2013
    DeGarde Framiscus 2015
    DeGarde The Purple 2015
    DeGarde Lee Kriek 2015
    DeGarde The Lily 2015
    DeGarde Printemps Melange 2015
    3F Hommage 2013
    3F Framboos 2014
    3F Oude Gueze 2013
    SARA West Ashley 2015
    Backyard Rye
    BCBCS 2013
    BCBW 2013
    BCBS 2014
    BCBS 2013
    BCBW 2014
    BCBS 2016
    Weller 12

Apologies if this is too open-ended, I just have no idea of the state of current trading and am hoping for some direction, so I know what would be a fair offer to make.

    Thanks!

Cantillon - Fou, Iris, Vig are probably close to 1:1, st lam would be overkill, and the lou pepe are WAY over
    DeGarde - not sure
3F - Hommage & framboos close to 1:1, oude gueze would probably be under
SARA - west ashley close to 1:1
BCBS - backyard rye close to 1:1, the others could maybe combine 2013-2014 stuff like 4+:1
Weller 12 is well over, probably could close 1:2 AB huna

the Lou pepe’s would be your best option to close quickly. I’m not super attuned to the values on old Lambics so someone else will need to hop in on fair ratios for those. W12 might be able to close 1:2 or 1:1+. You could maybe do a volume trade with those BCBS.

Should be able to get at least 3 AB Huna with those vintage LPK and 2 with the LPG. I agree with the ratios the others have provided on the other bottles.

Bourbon newbie here. Which of these bottles holds the highest trade value and what level of stout(s) or BW could the most regarded pull? KBBS, BBT, DBA, BAAT, etc, etc

    Pappy Van Winkle 15
    Pappy Van Winkle 20
    Pappy Van Winkle 23
    Eagle Rare 17
    George T. Stagg
    Sazerac Rye 18
    Thomas H. Handy
    William Larue Weller

WLW/Saz/ER17 are all 800-1200 in sales depending on years and such. So those would be in line for stuff like Bake Kujiras, Side Project Derivations/DB Anabasis.

Handy and GTS are a little lower, maybe on par with BBT, with the years of each corresponding in value roughly to different years of BBT.

Pappy 15 is around 1500 so something like ADWTD b3, 20 is a bit higher, 23 even more so. 23 might close for a OWK

This is super rough so correct me if I'm off. Do you have access to those bottles? That's pretty much the most sought after bourbon out there. Super hard to find, especially as a newbie without connections.

Thanks for the response. These are upcoming lottery bottles. I’m trying to decide how/if to approach it.

Crush it dude, good luck! If it’s to drink yourself, I’d recommend Pappy 20 & WLW. If it’s to trade or sell, then use the previously mentioned value post. ER17 & Saz18 are wildly inconsistent year to year drinking wise, and are more collectibles for guys looking to complete sets, particularly due to their rarity. I have heard from quite a few people that GTS 20 returns to glory from the disappointing 19 & that THH 20 is one of the best in the last decade. Cheers!

If the going rate for Floodland is Anniversary and BDay, please sign me up. My experience in trying to trade for these bottles is that multiples of those BC variants would be needed for Seekers and less so for Riesling. Kane allowed proxies and I would expect those bottles could easily get this year's ANTEAD set, maybe even a plus for someone looking for the Floodland. Good luck.

I've only done a few relatively minor trades and am usually content with beers I can easily get. However, I have a Perennial Societe membership this year and have the opportunity to purchase an extra Maman. Any idea what I might be able to trade it for?

First off, definitely get that extra maman. It depends on what type of beer you're looking for but value wise it will settle around where the 2020 Assassin is or maybe a little bit higher.
