There's a rich diversity of worldviews out there, and American brewers are happy to cater to all of them (especially the ones that make paying hundreds of dollars for a single beer reasonable)

As much as I would love to say it’s just FB where it happens, there’s a few people here who regularly promote the idea that their beer is worth way more than they paid for it just because they wallow in the fact that they have something valuable. Me personally I’m more likely to invest in bullion than I am your three year old bottle of beer. Just because a bunch of Facebook geeks say it’s worth 500 dollars doesn’t mean it is. Cheers.

Honest question, don’t you think some beers are worth more than others?

Maybe two of the PR? Small plus? BA $$ b1 was a higher trader. Are there any other batches? DM was one of the last high trading adjunct stouts I believe. Not sure if it's still the same but you should be able to get 2 + or maybe 3.

You do ask a million questions on here lol. Genuine question, do you drink your beer?? DM is a great beer, not sure why you don't just drink it (unless you've already had it). Not trying to flex, but as someone who has ticked all your historic ISOs (BADG, DB Assassin, DB Pear Leto, all the Pulpit you just listed, etc.), it'd be easier to just make new friends and join shares to try these. Lots of people will bring good stuff if you just opened up your DM with them. Not trying to hate on you, just trying to give some advice since I feel like the way you're going after these ticks is super inefficient and costly. Also, get a damn FB. This forum is more or less dead and you're gonna keep overpaying for stuff you want. Your offers are usually fine, it's just no one checks this forum.

To answer your question though, you could maybe land 2 of them, but honestly feel like the boat for DM has sailed. All the ppl looking for hype shit and ticks have probably already ticked DM. Even I've tried DM 4 times now. Relative values:

    DM - $450 - 500
    VB Assassin - $200
BA$$ - b1 is $100 (but not many left out there) and b2 is like $250
    Vennskap - $280 - $300
Forelsket - $350 - $400 (maybe less on FB, but seems like very few left out there).
    Seven Years - $250-300

hahaha. i do go to quite a lot of shares. i have a good group of beer friends who have now turned into actual friends, which is actually why i do try to trade for all these things. most of my friends trade too but not for the big big bottles so i try to be one of the ones who can snag them for everyone to try since i tend to have bigger things to trade more than them.

almost 100% of the beers i trade are ones we have all shared already so i try to flip them for something new for us to try. Like dm for example. Last week someone ended up bringing it to a share, so now that we have all tried it, i want to see about finding something else for us to try. I like to ask questions because i dont want to insult anyone with a terrible offer. I know it can be annoying so i always appreciate everyones feedback.

You really aren't annoying at all. You're very respectful, and kind. People may think you're spinning your wheels, but it isn't the same. This stands in stark contrast to a few people that post, say, 1 specific beer for weeks or months on end, and seem a bit rigid in what they are trying to do, and aren't very nice/respectful to replies to their post.

Whoa. If his BA stouts/barleywines have the recent Moksa footprint of the past year, this place will quickly turn into the best niche microbrewery in SoCal, and finally give SD something beyond their IPA dominated market!

I have a few. Unfortunately, there is a sock account by the name of Hugo Dom that is the center of attention in all of them. Gets annoying. PM if interested.
