Whats Angry Chairs Prodigious going for vs Double Barrel VSOJ? Was thinking 4:1 but have gotten crickets. Am I way off?

Per some Facebook trade value site research, you should be right on. Technically the prodigious might be worth a bit more but it all depends on what people willing to trade.
Prodigious sounds cool but I wouldn’t trade a full 4pk of DBVSOJ for it personally (just my humble opinion)

Should be considering they were all released simultaneously

What do dark lord variants trade for these days when they're released? I know some of the coveted top 250 variants of the past are insanely costly to trade for but without following the entirety of the DLD thread, limits, hype etc could anyone give any sort of rough ballpark on what a variant this year would trade for?

    About 125.

Probably trading roughly 1:1 with other big but not whale stouts. (IE upper-tier Angry Chair, Lower-tier Side Project, mid-tier Toppling Goliath)

Just my opinion of course based on what I’ve observed being traded.

Have no idea how that would transfer to other beer styles. Cheers.

    I'll start this party off.

I think I may have asked this before, but trying to get a Moksa ELD. I am offering quantity that I believe is good quality. Not getting bites. What has this been trading for? More 1:1 on equally valued bottles?

I should have Tree House Data Set #1-6 (6 beers) and an Emperor Julius. Think they have value enough to compare with say Freemont Brew 3000 (2019) or Pliny the Younger? Also might have Project Find the Limit 13.

I would hope you could land a Brew 3K hopefully they would add to even out $4$. Younger will be tough. If this was 5 years ago probably so, but TreeH is so much easier to get these days.

I think what's hurting your current offer is that Modern isn't as well known outside of STL. Also, the perceived value of Modern's stuff is all over the place considering they have generally been no limit releases that tend to hang around a couple days. Hard to trade away a beer that most stood in line for hours to get at $60/2pp for something that was readily available with no limit for several days. Could be totally wrong here but that's my two cents

Good point. I was under the assumption that Modern stuff was gaining in popularity. Perhaps not so much, well at least to the Cali guys.

Its definitely gaining in popularity but not as well known as one would think, especially considering the quality of recent drops. That could also be something else effecting its perceived value; the short time at which they have become known to those "in the know". I would compare them to other breweries like Wax Wings and Wonderous in how they are just recently starting to get rather popular and their trade values are a bit up and down depending on where they are being offered. People who know them and are familiar with the level of quality being produced are more inclined to trade a premium bottle like an ELD for something from that brewery as opposed to someone just now finding out about them.

Personally I think your trade offer is a good offer but it's going to take the right set of eyes on this platform I think.

I appreciate your feedback. Sounds like I might have to crack into my Cantillons and Hills Farmsteads.

If anyone has some alternative trading platform options they like, please fire me a PM.

Over the last year I was surprised that probably 75% of the beer nerds that I talked to in the Bay Area hadn’t heard of Wax Wings.
On the flip side when I went to Decorah last winter no one knew who Santé Adairius was.

What is PtY trading for? No matter what I see offered here, nobody gets bites. Im surprised - thought it was in more abundance and being traded more readily, but maybe not?
