Haha I dunno if you understood my Post but I was specifically looking to add on top of IWAAD b2..... And was wondering what it would take. Never mentioned 1:1

Seem like 1/2 - 3/4 depending on the exact trade.

 

Answer to your first question:
It’s tough these days to trade for big bottles in my experience. I’ve posted a few times for some big bottles with a IWAAD b1 as an anchor and have only had crickets. Like I’ve mentioned before it’s probably easier to sell your bottles and buy a big bottle or overvtrade like crazy. I in no way condone or like this fact but this is the current state of beer/trading.

Second question:
I think you’ll need to add at least a VR to as a plus to get any interest. I personally don’t think HJ is worth the price of admission at an IWAAD b2+ VR as I’ve mentioned to @eppie82.

Just my 2 cents.

 

Not sure about the practicalities of this because of East Coast / West Coast but do you guys think 18 BAA is approx. RFI + BA Affogato?

I asked this same question in the first run of this thread. The BA Abraxas has an edge and won’t go 1:1 with Assassin. I’ve posted Assassin ‘18 with the glass and a list of plusses to crickets on numerous occasions. It also looks like here are more than a handful of us trying to trade Assassin for BAA which is probably only driving up the value on he beer. Just my two cents..

 

There's always people looking for BAA, so it isn't that people with Assassin (Orange) are driving up the value, but rather that if you want to land a BAA with Assassin (Orange) you'll have to add. Just because if you don't there's someone else that will. -Even though the size of BAA released yesterday (and the number of people that were able to get 2 - even without a membership) was large. That said, the value of BAA should fall. (My guess is to about the same as what Assassin Orange is at. We'll see. There's always a clamor right after release.)

 

I absolutely agree that BAA is highly sought after. I think the point I was trying to make is that with multiple people throwing out the same offer it’s only likely going to lead for the person on the side of BAA asking/expecting more.

Looking to try and land a BAA '18.... If I offer PN8, AdF b3, and Fuzzy b2, am I close?

 

I’m wanting to land a Cycle Trademark &+ because it sounds delicious. Is it fairly common (as in 1:1 with a BCBS Coffee or Northwoods?) or more along the lines of 1:1 with BCBS Reserve for example?

 

I would think you are close, but maybe more likely to be able to do this on a St. Louis Facebook group?

Might be tough because all those beers are from the same region (city, really). It's likely many of the folks that have BAA were already able to obtain the 3 you're offering. We have the same issue in Chicago with trading for Bourbon County stuff with other stuff released in the city.
