Think it would trade somewhere between FO and FF

The guidelines for this are the following:
1.Under no circumstances should cash value, offers to exchange cash for beer, offers to exchange beer for cash, offers to exchange cash for prime grade A sirloin or really anything involving cash at all be mentioned. This will lock the thread immediately and you will be shamed. If you have to use a reference, I would recommend the gold standard of RVRU (relative vanilla rye units)
[2]Don't be vague. No one really knows if you're ISO or FT. No beer has a singular value, so asking "what can I get with X?" will result with a million answers. "What does it take to land Y?" Again please help give us an idea of what you have FT or where about you're at to give an idea of locals, etc.
[3]The purpose of this thread is to help users out and introduce some dialogue and conversation into the merits of a particular proposed trade. It is meant to help users new and old and be a bit more dynamic than the "completed trades" section.
    [4]Have fun with this!

I'll kick it off. Trying to understand what is a fair ask for Handjee - specifically when asking for fruits/sours in return. Fan of Casey and Side Project

With a bottle like handjee you're in the realm of OG tete and a few really nice adds or b2 Ouse ferm. Casey there's no single bottle that should go for handjee probably but some combo of leaner, jammy, supreme clientele, rasp cut et cetera would get it done. Otherwise could trade for significant quantity of good stuff but can't quantity what or how much unless you put up a specific ISO

Any thoughts on ratios regarding what it would take to land Transient Canuckley, Kentuckley, and/or Ruckley with a FT of various SP bottles (AdF, Fuzzy, Pitter Patter, Fencerow, RdP)?

I would agree with with he had to say. Probably be multiple bottles. With that said, I have a few sp sours and casey limited and looking for a handjee if you want to try. May not be what you are looking for though.

Adf seems to be landing a few of those bottles. The others I would expect to be either 1:1 or 3:2 with sp.

To clarify, there are sours that are 1:1, just not necessarily from those breweries. Well, Lambics, anyway, but not sure that is what you are looking for.

I've been toying with the idea of trading my DL variant Lounge Against the Macro Machine for some bottle logic.
Mxy, Space Trace, Number Crunch would be my dream trade. Mxy sounds amazing, space trace is easily in my top 3 and I've never tried number crunch. Would also love to add a 17,18 DL for another bottle logic.
Fair? Close? Way off and I'm over valuing the variant?
I wanted the groups feedback before I look like an A-hole.
    Thanks cheers

I know this isn’t your question, but dollar for secondary dollar, 15 Pappy and WLW are the best in that tier. I had all 3 Pappys at WhiskeyFest, and 15 was hands down best. 20 was very underwhelming, and 23 was great, but not as good as 15. And WLW may be better than all 3.

I'm looking at trading for some BA and/or variants of Mexican Cake. Am I in the wheelhouse with the new Transient release, Kentuckley, Canuckley, Bring the Ruckley?

I'm less familiar with how these trade - as it seems like offers/completed trades have been all over the place. That said, Willet MC should be somewhere around BC Reserve/Rare 15/FO B3. Scotch/Port I think are a little easier to come by, as they are slightly polarizing to people, so trade a little lower. Calvados (The "new" AB MC) trades the highest of the most recent BA releases, but not sure where it stands currently. Somewhere between FO B3 and VR, but not sure where. Trading at VR seems a little high to me.

Coffee Cake seems to vary.widely. Seems to be anywhere from the DL/Huna/Darkness/No rules level to BC Reserve depending on who is trading and how bad they want it.

Thanks. I'm mostly looking at barrel aged. I think scotch and port are on the low end, bourbon is an average to baseline and the AB is certainly high. I'm almost wondering if I put together the set of Buckley, Bark Lord, Kentuckley, Canuckley, Ruckley and throw in some hops and/or No Rules or BA Expedition if I can get the 4 bottle BA Cake set.

On the flip side, I'm on the fence on if I even want to because this years Transient set is some of the best beer I've had in a long, long time.

Both of those thoughts are reasonable.

My initial reaction is that I think a number of people would have a harder time letting the set go for something that seems less whalezy, as that's what people seem to do with MC sets. I think it could happens with the right set of eyes, just people seem to do these type of trades less often =/. Frustrating for sure.

Always great to have the choice of "I love these beers - do I trade them for beers to try or just drink the delicious nectar?"

To be clear, are you talking about all 3 BL stouts for Lounge? Or 1:1 on either of those BL stouts?

I think Lounge is worth maybe all 3 together, but NC is getting harder to find, as is Mxy. Probably a fair trade, but might be difficult to find someone who actually has all 3 and is also willing to part with those 2 rarer ones.

I think FOb3 is trading higher than mdb4 nowadays. Definitely awhile back was 1:1 The desire of FO continues to climb, and inventory is shrinking. Watch out for the next batch!

Sorry, I am fundamentally programmed to discount anything that a California trade says that might increase BL beers.

    Thank you, Please come again!

What are you taking about ?

I didn't say the next batch will trade higher.
The next batch, will of course be easier to acquire.
