I was (very honestly) just trying to have a little fun. Lots of jokes on this board about California (Florida) going to California (Florida), ie encourage the value of their beers to be higher. Since you were saying FO B3 is getting harder, I was just trying to poke fun.

No ill will meant. My apologies.

What about the ratio on Big Poppa (latest) for JWB Sippin in Yak?

Most likely. You're looking at about $40 vs. $60.
Can you get to Chicago? Just go to Goose man, they're probably still on sale

Can anyone provide a value on a 2017 Maman? I have Assassin and Prop 13 I may try to involve in a deal. Thanks

Thanks! I ended up with an extra Northwoods, and I'd like to try to get a regal, so think I'll try to go after this. Happy to add a plus.

Not near Chicago, so can't really. Don't really want to pay $50 for a regal though =/.

Don't blame you there and yet I still long for the next time I head back home for a weekend and roll in there on a Friday at open and buy a VR or King Henry for MYSELF

The guidelines for this are the following:
    1. Under no circumstances should cash value, offers to exchange cash for beer, offers to exchange beer for cash, offers to exchange cash for prime grade A sirloin or really anything involving cash at all be mentioned. This will lock the thread immediately and you will be shamed. If you have to use a reference, I would recommend the gold standard of RVRU (relative vanilla rye units)
    2. Don't be vague. No one really knows if you're ISO or FT. No beer has a singular value, so asking "what can I get with X?" will result with a million answers. "What does it take to land Y?" Again please help give us an idea of what you have FT or where about you're at to give an idea of locals, etc.
    3. The purpose of this thread is to help users out and introduce some dialogue and conversation into the merits of a particular proposed trade. It is meant to help users new and old and be a bit more dynamic than the "completed trades" section.
    4. Have fun with this!

    I'll join today again.

So, I am always trying to stay ahead of the game with gifts for my dad. Father's day was taken care of, but looking to either his birthday in October, or towards Christmas now. Trying to get him a nice bottle of Bourbon. I have Assassin (Orange) as a base.

What kind of plus is usually required for the lower BTAC bottles? Looking at completed trades, saw GT Stagg went for BAA (pretty close to Assassin) and also for Handjee. Stagg is usually lower than WLW as I understand it, but not sure if Handjee would close a WLW 1:1). I suspect Stagg is probably somewhere between those two trades?

Alternatively, if someone has a suggestion about what else I should go after, I'm open to options. He's a big fan of good Rye, so would be open to the Sazerac from BTAC (or others), just not sure what I should be looking at.

If this is too open for this thread, if anyone is well acquainted with whiskey values, feel free to PM me instead.

The bourbon tax is a fickle beast. The most recent GTS (much larger production) still settles a bit above 18 assassin and a + somewhere in the FO range should land it pretty quick. You may have some luck with a 1:1 but I have my suspicions. GTS would go 1:1 with Handjee for sure. WLW is still above handjee but with the frenzy still strong around it maybe you could land one?
The saz 17 year is a very limited run and is as unobtainable as WLW probably. Other great bourbons would be the michters 10 year rye (if you are looking for rye) or old forester birthday bourbon, weller 12 (esp old label), or OWA 107 (esp good store picks). Honestly if you find someone experienced from a good area, store picks of most bourbons are an amazing value. Good luck sir!

I'd agree on the above. They made a lot of Stagg last year, about double that of WLW, so it's going to be a lot harder to trade for WLW.

Thanks for the comments, both of you.

My comments were less directed at whether I could get a WLW (I can't) and more directed at the fact that the only 2 values I have to go on for GTS are in the completed trades thread. 1 was BAA, the other Handjee (both 1:1). I was thinking BAA seemed a little low while Handjee seemed high, since I'd think handjee could pull a WLW (even if a plus is needed). More about trying to gauge the value of GTS.

I'll have to look into some of those recommendations. I know that the Birthday Bourbon is supposed to be great, but seems like it is hard to come by.

    Thanks again.

Has anyone seen any DL: SpaceForce moving? I know the bottle limit is somewhere between 7-800 but haven’t seen much movement.

    Thanks!
