Would a Prairie Dawg Darshmellow be about 1:1 with a 17 Dark Lord?

And would non-BA IGCCS be about 1:1 with a Bottle Logic ST?

And how about a Voodoo Rye BA Black Magic...about 1:1 with a BCBS Reserve?

 

Any Prairie dawg would pull a DL. If you're on the DL side, you'd want to add.

Non-BA IGCCS is just "IGCCS." Value wise close to the same, but they seem hard to pull, so probably have to add to get the IGCCS.

Red wax BM for Reserve is fare, but if going after the BM, Reserve would probably have to add.

Here's a more specific one. KBBS B2 for BA Rocky Roady, BBT, Purple Wax Assassin, FO, VR. Thoughts?

 

Which side are you on?

When you're trading up it's a lot different than trading down; and when you're at the extreme tail of value, "fair value" gets skewed, especially when doing a large quantity trade.

That said, this seems low to me. I would expect something on the order of BARR + BBT + Purple Assassin for KBBS B3, maybe add the FO to try to entice people more, but not *needed* in terms of comparable value.. So, I don't see this as being something able to land a KBBS B2 unless you're the one with the B2, and that's something you're comfortable with.

Yep. As an example of this, too, there's a guy recently offering BAA + BBT + Maman 17 for a KBBS B3. -And, by no means is he crazy over. He's throwing 3 quality bottle to get it done quicker, and so value is a little high, but by no means crazy.

 

Assuming this is serious (no malice meant), 1/2 VR refers to "value." So, like a Rare 15 is around "half" a VR in terms of value (i.e. 2 Rare is close to a VR in value). Same with FO - around a "half" of a VR in value.

My experience trading away and trading for big bottles is you have to over trade by a large margin to get someone’s attention. Most big bottles have been either traded for and being saved for an occasion or original owners not for trade. The other side of it is the crazy amount of rare bottles that are for sale. Which is the worst part of beer and I will never buy a bottle via secondary.

As I’ve mentioned before unfortunately you could sell all the bottles on your list and buy a KBBS b2, or get close. I do not by any means condone it. But it’s the sad and ugly truth about big bottles and beer these days.

Is that correct? I thought a KBBS B2 was 50-70% more valuable than a KBBS B3. If that's correct - even without knowing secondaries, I don't see how that's a true statement unless I am really far off on the relative value of BA RR. Seems like He'd still be a BBT or so away. Am I that far off?

Maybe trade wise. I’m just going based on bottles for sale right now. Like I said, I don’t know how legit these websites are as I don’t use them and will not use them but based on the perceived value of the bottles on the list he’d be close. Anyone with the internet can search for them.

 

Had a Beer Buddy recently trade for KBBS B3 and he traded The 4 BA AC TBBW Bottles for it..BAIGCCS BARR DBP and BA Fionn

 

For the record, I closed the BARR, BBT, Assassin, FO, VR for KBBS B2 on the multiple bottles side. I may have been lucky but it did close.
