I am sitting on about 5 cases of Black Ops ‘16-‘18 from when I was working at Brooklyn Brewery. Any trade value here? Beyond 4$4. Not looking for anything in particular. Would love to land a Pips/some mid tier bourbon/stouts

thought so...Hard to drink 5 cases of Black Ops but I’ll try.

 

realistically would take 50% of their value so I didn’t have to drink them all lol. Appreciate it though.

 

Then donate them but that beer has almost no trade value...especially for thy stuff you mentioned. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong

 

I was honestly blown away with B520. I originally bought a few with the intent to trade at least 1, but I am going to end up keeping them.

Black ops is nationally distributed and isn't ranked very high, so I think it depends what you are looking to trade it for. If you are only after bigger bottles, you can try to trade 1-2 cases for something in the 0.5 - 1 VRU range. I am sure some people are after daily drinkers and this may be a good trade for some. I would suggest starting in the IP forum so you don't have to ship 1-2 cases of Black ops. The better the deal you offer, the more likely you are to close for something you actually want to drink (ex. 2 cases for 1 Vanilla Rye).

In the end, you are only going to get 50% value if you want to trade for locals or other similar valued beers, otherwise you aren't going to get close to that value. But, there is the added value of freeing your home of 5 cases of beer that you don't plan on drinking. Hope that helps.
