Thinking of trading my 2018 Marshmallow Handjee.

Looking for other BBA stouts such as BCBS Rare, Double Barre, Anny, Bday, or other Reserve’s.

What kind of return would be fair if I decide to trade?

 

I traded for an 18 when it came out. Probably gave up value equivalent to everything you mentioned. 19 and 20 i believe are significantly lower. Not sure if that has had an effect on other vintages. If i had to guess 16 and 17 probably still hold decent value, where 18 may have dropped a bit. Maybe DBBC + Rare?

 

I re-enter this thread with severe trepidation, but here goes ...

I stumbled upon a Weller Special Reserve (green label, 90 proof), a Sazerac Rye (sign said 6 years, but doesn't say that on bottle, 90 proof) and a McKenna 10yr SB, BiB.

I'm looking to trade all 3 + BA IGCCS for a bigger BA Stout. Any value to these combined?

I'm really trying to land a DB Assassin, but looking at other great bottles too like DM, For Gabe, etc ... thoughts??

 

Where is dB assassin vru wise?

 

I don't have what you're looking for, and I can't speak for Florida, Missouri, or Iowa, but all three of those bottles are really easy to come by where I'm at and fairly cheap. I'd be surprised if you got anything close to what you're shooting for, then I'd take the same shot!

 

New year, fresh start perhaps? Each of those whiskies run relatively close to cost, so about 50 each. Not sure what BA IGCCS goes for, been seeing around 150ish, but have been seeing DB Assassin close for around 450-500, so you’re short, particularly on a larger anchor side, for any of your targeted BA stouts

 

150 for the newest batch of baigccs? Is that an outlier or the norm?

 

will be the first to say I’m not exactly sure when it comes to AC stouts. Mostly just searched few closed posts. I do know it’s not nearly a large enough anchor for DB Assassin, DM, or For Gabe

Where is Minutiae at in vru?

 

Anyone see Side Project DM close for bourbon? Is OFBB or THH out of league? If I go for quantity instead, is 5 or 6xOWA (as far as value goes) about right? Thanks in advance.

 

Are VB Assassin and Medianoche Reserve a reasonable 1:1?

 

I am assuming you mean 2019 VBA and not 2013 VBA. I think if you are holding the VBA you can ask for a small plus with the Medianoche Reserve like another smaller noche. I would think the offer would be enticing 1:1 and ensure a quick close. If you are holding a 2013 VBA you can ask for a Toyota Corolla as a plus.

 

New or used? We talking standard model or upgraded?

 

I used to collect FW boxes some FT some to drink. I had the hardest time trying to trade them and ended up drinking them. I’d personally do a $4$ trade and see if the trader would be interested in those.

Hey everyone. I am looking to land one of these: db assassin, kbbs 19 or 20, ba distractions grasp

I have a few bottles I would package together to make it happen: Homes/Horus Doozie Hawk, BCBS Rare 15, Horus Martial's Harlequin, Horus/Trill Thicc Skin.

I know I may not find someone necessarily looking for those 4 specific ones i have but am i at least offering fair value? or am I off? i still have no idea how to tell hahaha.

I think you are short. Plus as you have indicated you may have a hard time finding anyone interested in 4 random bottles. You may have better luck trading up to a mid-tier bottle (ex. Assassin) to then create a package for one of your ISO.

 

Ok thanks for the info. Do you think the the doozie hawk and bcbs are good enough to land a vb assassin 19 or a handjee 19?

 

Anyone know what Weller 12 is valued at? Seeing secondary all over the place
