Trade Value Thread (Q1 2021)

Anyone have a gauge for the value of DB Assassin yet?

Was thinking of offering 3 Eighth State BAs (DB Monolith, Microcosm IV, and Cypher) for one, but not sure if I'm in the ballpark or not

 

It's going for 600 in razzles.

Need some feedback on a trade. Eq Binary Elements for 2020 Cigar City Hunahpu. What kind of plus would the Hunahpu side need to make this fair to both?

Which one? Regular box? Kacho LE from airport? Old Kacho?

 

Regular Box. I got it as a gift.
Didn’t know if it held any weight beyond retail (which I assume is 3-400$?)

 

Wow! Nice score/gift! Personally, I’d drink it, as it’s excellent. But if you’re looking to trade, it’s mostly fetching around 650 right now, but as high as 700.

Huna pretty much always trades at cost or just above. Would think you can get at least 2 huna for your equilibrium. As good as cigar city is they are not tough beers to get.

 

Thanks for the tag, but I’m horrible with values especially if/when secondary comes into play.

Otherwise, what’s the retail, limits on each? I’d imagine there’s a lot more Hunahpu made than the EQ beer so it may a good plus. But, again, more knowledgeable BAs will likely have the answer you’re iso.

Seems to be going anywhere from 3-5 VRU before anyone’s tried one.

 

Aside from the Derivation name is there any reason this would be more valuable than BA Cocovibes. Isn’t it the essentially the same thing (blend of extended BA stouts with coconut additions) except it also has vanilla

This is a good question. I'm trying to hunt down the answer as well.

This makes sense to me. Just trying to gauge the range. Is it the plus more on the side of say a hypermash hydra or more like a 4 pack of rev cans? If you are not comfortable responding, I completely understand

***Edit: Hypermash Hydra is a bad example. Maybe replace that with an Anniversary or Birthday BCBS value***

Thanks for your help! Yeah I’ll probably drink it. Was hoping I could maybe pair it with a EC18, or Parker 11 for like a WLW. Not sure if that’ll be feasible.

 

I think the hibiki is closer to 1k. Paired with the parker 11, i think you'd be able to close for a wlw. Maybe just right set of eyes.

 

Not saying that there isn't someone out there who would pay 1k, but not quite sure where you're getting that figure. WLW is definitely 1k minimum on most bourbon secondary groups. Only Hibiki 21 that I've seen approach 1k are the old Mt. Fuji Kacho's that you can't find anymore (not the new ones that are available duty free in Narita). I agree that all it takes is the right set of eyes, but having no stock in this whatsoever, I've never seen a Hibiki 21 regular box go for that much on any secondary group.

 

I would agree you’d be really close pairing a PHC 11 w/ the Hibiki 21 for a WLW value-wise.
