Both seem to be going for $35 to $50 on the site that shall not be named.

    What about this one?

Coffee Abraxas 18 (pre) + Madagascar 18 + Port Double Barrel Madagascar 18 for Resplendent Angel + State and Mind + Picture if you Will + The Spice Must Flow

    3:4

I'm guessing this is pretty close?

Has there been any mention that Coffee Abraxas will be bottled again in 2018? I'm a member and haven't heard anything from Perennial regarding this yet.

I'm assuming it will. It was the last two years at least, but don't know about before that. Typically the public Abraxas release announcement would be in the next two weeks. I'm assuming it will be the same as last year unless they introduce a new variant. I know they had a coconut one on draft recently which would be pretty awesome.

vanilla ANTEAD and FOb4. are those near 1:1? I would guess there is a plus on the FO side? if so what level of plus?

I wouldn't put these at 1:1... Vanilla ANTEAD wasn't released this year (just regular and rye) and there as only 1 bottle as part of sets in the last release. I'd expect a decent plus on FOb4 considering that seems to have fallen in value compared to previous batches.

Black Tuesday Reserve for MDb5? I'm seeing nothing on the BTR value.

    Thanks

BTReserve, from everything I have gathered, does not tried high at all. Something like 2 to 3 times a regular BT. So, well below MD B5 value.

Ehh not so sure about that one. I think its probably close to, if not a bit below MD b5. Not sure if this applies to the most recent release but certainly to 2015

Agreed, I thought it was about 2/3 to 4/5 of the way there depending on how much the MD owner wants that BT Reserve.

@putonyourwalkingshoes You may want to scroll up. I was thinking that I got my valuation from something you had said. I'm certainly wrong, so not doubting @blkhawk14 or @MKE_Hopspur . Just figured you might be of some help.

The ‘15 BTR I thought was around .75 VR units, right around the current MD5 value.

Samples are typically sent in 2 oz boston rounds. Unless it is a real rarity (i.e. VWRR or Hirsch 16 or gold vein weller or something crazy), I view vials of nice bourbon as a nice extra. You never know exactly what you are getting so i'd be wary of trading with someone you don't trust. I'd ask others to weigh in, but when trading samples I almost always view them as a + on top of an established trade.

BT reserve is kind of a mystery to me. Clearly when it debuted it didn't have much trade value maybe because people saw it as another boozy black Tuesday with another 2% alcohol but its climbed quite a but recently. I've seen some wild action in the IP forums. I think its slightly higher than rare but I could be mistaken. Hard to gauge its value outside the local forums because I dont see much of it trading around outside the IP.

On another note Beer_Economics... man I'd like to meet you one day haha. You are fine asset to the trading community.

Prob closer to 1.5 Black Gold units as I'm seeing it. Black Gold has always been 1:1 with FO and not seeing any 1:1 with BTR and this was even before FOb4.

I am mostly looking for an '18 BTR. It sounds like my best opportunity is an IP trade next time I am out in CA for work.

I've been curious about BA Vermillion for a while, but haven't sought it out yet. I don't see it posted on either side very often, but just saw one pop up FT.

I'm wondering about release frequency, allotments, and value. I have things like recent El Catador bottles I'd be willing to trade for it (plus the next round's yet to be released), or some BDCS, Jackie O's anniversary sours or New Glarus R&D sours, but not much else. Any thoughts appreciated.

I'm not even sure how people are going to value them. Assuming you have to be a reserve member a lot of people have left their membership because bruery beers lost a lot of trade value. It looks like they are getting into the pastry game so that should help. I have stocked a lot of black Tuesdays and anniversary BA olde ales and have been delighted with them over the years.
