You would have no issues closing. FWIW someone closed Art b6 for Zenne b2 + Cable Car Kriek 2011 (375mL) + a Floodland bottle on FB. I remember because it was a tempting offer. Art b6 ~ WoL SARA, if anything WoL SARA maybe a little more. So I would think a nice plus on the Zenne b2 side.

If you are deciding between Zenne b1 and Zenne b2, I would say b1 is one of the best lambics ever made. I've had b2 twice and the first time when it was carbed it held it's ground next to b1. The second time it was an uncarbed bottle and it left a lot to be desired. Good luck @MattOC.

Anyone have a take on why 8th state bottles dont seem to move much on here? I have a few ba bottles from a recent visit but i dont really ever see many iso’s for them.

 

Lot of trades I see are so people can bring stuff to a share and 375s are hard to share. The recent side project 375s don’t seem to be trading super high either maybe for the same reason

 

They had a lot of hype a few years ago when Neck & Neck Batch 2 was released. But national interest faded after some quality control & bad beer issues. Couple that with the fact that so many breweries release super sweet pastry stouts now. And like @AlexIrigoyen said, 375mL bottles suck for a share.

 

I traded for a couple a while back. Found it to be pastry garbage. I’m sure there are a lot of fans that would say “oh but ___ is really good” At this point I’m not going to trade good beer for a roll of the dice.

 

They seem to crank out a new combination of adjunct heavy stouts/barleywines every week and it's a total guess as to whether or not it's going to be any good. Sometimes you get a total home run and sometimes is a $2-3/oz of Hershey's syrup. Reminds me of Horus actually

No not planning a trip to Anchorage to grab a set,I'm on the Arabesque side but was guessing with the age of King Henry I would need to add a bottle of something because the hype of the new ADWTD set will be way up there.

 

What's in the ADWTD box? Hopefully they are bringing back the regular OG batch.

 

They havent released details on the 3 bottles in the set yet, just had a post and pic on IG. It is an in person release though on Oct 22nd.

 

yeah i can agree 100% with the pastry stuff, its very hit or miss, but their non adjunct stuff seems to be almost all hits. The rest of what you guys all said make sense so i guess ill just chalk it up to that. Womp womp.

Agreed and I’m note sure this is really close for the Arabesque side. Had King Henry recently and it’s fallen off as you’d expect with the age.

The new ADWTD release is going to feature 4 TO ADWTD bottles and a TO Wendigo. Arabesque seems like a good anchor but imagine you’d need a lot more then King Henry as a + given quantity and hype. Just a guess though, and will certainly depend on the availability from Anchorage. Haven’t seen much detail on barrel description, quantity or even if these might hit Tavour so I could be way off.

Currently planning on attending the ADWTD release though so I’m biased! My experience from the last box set release includes all the classic mule scenarios you can think of so I’m sure some will be available. Good luck OP.

Sang Bleu (AKA Camerise) seems to have dropped to St. Lam levels, small plus on the Sang Bleu side like a Cantillon Guze, Kriek, or RdG.

 

Appreciate the response. I knew Sang Bleu dropped but it seemed like Maman had as well so was curious.
