Looking for a bottle of 3 Matt’s. How far off would BA Vanilla Suszy Cherry Pie be?

The neopolitan one was the Bottle Logic collab. Angry chair collab is Gas station Coffee.

Neapolitan is Bottle Logic. Gas Station and chocolate/vanilla/maple are the new AC collabs.

Anyone know if Angry Chair stouts trade high or not? Looking to get a few variations of Popinkski and not sure if a PCC would get it done or maybe a proper dose?

Can't speak to your ISO specifically, but Angry Chair usually trades high around here.

2018 Doublemex releases on Sun 11/11, so you should be able to get a new bottle for your share. Not sure on bottle count but registration is closed and there is a 2 bottle limit at $24 per.

edit: looks like I'm a little late on that info, oops

Any idea of trade value on the 2018 Darkness BA variants? I know they were a Darkness Day exclusive, but not sure if any made it past DD for sale at the brewery? Ideally I'd like to get my hands on all 3, but I'm not sure how realistic that would be.

I am legit curious, as I have seen next to nothing on these. Not that many people looking, but seems like some rather high values in the couple cases I have. No idea about closed trades, though. (I also haven't looked up reviews to even know if people like them.)

Both could get it done. Pop is pretty equal with PCC. Proper dose is a little higher than PCC so should get something back more than just OG popinksi.

Depends on the batch. I did a doublemex for a voodoo zangief + bb paradise. I'd probably do it again for mdb5 1:1.

I'd like to hear other peoples thoughts on how many VR units they think a doublemex is worth? Specifically 2017 if that matters.

3+:1 for BBT b2. Is this at all close?

I'm not sure that many have traded their BBT b2 just yet to know for sure what the going rate is. Only thing I've seen BBT b2 close for so far has been BBT b1, and that was right after tickets were purchased for BBT b2 and that was only one trade. There have been a few more posted with BBT b1 with + for a b2, but those remain open as far as I can tell. So I'm not sure if that provides you any indication. To sum it up, it will be hard to gauge what it will take until a few BBT b2 bottles get traded.

People can say what they want, but I'm not convinced B2 will be "more expensive" than B1. There is a similar (even if albeit a somewhat smaller) number of bottles. Some reports have said better than B1, but its too early to tell that I think. Most people said "One of if not the best non-adjunct BA stout I've ever had." Somehow this is better but "not even close?" I'm skeptical. The rating in untappd is currently higher, but there's only 64 ratings compared to nearly 2,200 for B1. More ratings always lead to a decrease in rating. I'm sure it will fall to right around 4.75 just like B1, and I think value will be very similar.

Pre-trades are hard since so few are usually completed.

I'm not alluding to one being better than the other (I've had neither thus far) nor the Untappd ratings (which have maybe some but relatively negligible effect on trade value). I'm just pointing out that I've seen a few FT: BBT b1 ISO: BBT b2, and only seen one mentioned as completed. I'm not sure I've seen a FT: BBT b2 ISO: BBT b1 yet (might have missed it). I have no idea what trade will be close and which one won't be.

As far as actual beer and what I predict will happen, I anticipate BBT b2 will trade for more than BBT b1. BBT b2 is already hyped whereas when BBT b1 came out, initially people didn't know what to make of it. It was still trading for a good bit but then it really took off in demand.

BBT b2 also spent more time in same type of barrels as b1. Batch 1 was blend of Willett Barrels (aged for 13 months) and Heaven Hill (aged for 12 months) whereas batch 2 is a blend of Willett Barrels (aged for 20 months), Heaven Hill barrels (aged for 23 months) AND Knob Creek (for 17moths). More time in barrels doesn't necessarily translate always to better taste but it certainly adds to trade demand. I see the comparison of this b1 and b2 discussion to Grande Negro Voodoo Papi (in Buffalo Trace Barrels) b1 and b2. Batch 1 was aged for 12 months whereas batch 2 was aged 19 months in Buffalo Trace. They did not (and still don't) trade for same value because b2 is far more 'coveted'. ... this from a guy who traded for both GNVP b1 and b2 because I wanted to see the difference the extra time in barrels made.

Here's the thing, there was no hype behind the original BBT for the first couple of months. Trades were pretty easy to close relative to today. A lot of people didn't even know about BBT or didn't pay attention to it because it was neither a Derivation, or a pastry laden stout. Now everyone knows more about BBT--whether the experience of drinking it actually warrants the hype is besides the point--the hype is there now where it wasn't last year at this time. It's starting at a much higher spot, and as b2s usually go, it may get even higher.

For sure. Was not trying to say you were saying that. I just quoted your post because it is what made me think about it. -That, and all the comments that I have seen, of course.
