Janky made the mistake of brokering a trade for a friend who backed out at the last second. It could have been a close friend who wouldn't give him the beer for what was agreed upon leaving Janky under the bus. I can personally vouch for Janky having done multiple trades, on another forum for whatever that is worth, always delivering on what was promised and more over the past two years.

Bottom line: if your friend wants to trade bottles, he should make an account and handle business himself. It's a tough situation for anyone. Would you rather drive a wedge between your online trade reputation or friendship?

He could have better communicated the situation prior to setting up the trade and confirmed with his friend before sending out shipping information, but it has been a lesson learned. We all make mistakes, and no one lost beer over this deal.

Yea man I mean bad communication alone does not a bad trader make. Ultimately if you don't lose anything I don't think its deserving of a call out. I can't tell Ya the number of times I've exchanged addresses with someone only to have them reject my trade request or rather never accept it, and immediately I recognize that as hesitation and give them the benefit of the doubt- I personally don't wanna trade with someone that has any hesitation, I prefer the motto as long as both sides are happy (& of course Beer is best served shared).

Now I know old timers can recall the day and quote stories about "I remember when", but those times are gone, the sentiment of the site for advocacy is certainly still there, but adaptation to the new system is what makes it work. He didn't accept the trade, because he was trading someone else's beer, and he didn't tell Ya, and then he did, and then he didn't wanna trade. So? It's all good man.

Now @ghost_pepper78 you do seem like you've got to at least explain yourself privately publicly whatever, somethin though. OP, did he also not ever accept your request?

I'm guessing OP is so used to trades going his way, what with shootin' out addresses on the third reply and whatnot, that a couple of trade negotiations going sideways (on 50+ trades) got him so upset enough to post this. I know its been beaten to death but I honestly don't feel like these threads should even go up - if you are not out any beer, just put the dude on /ignore and move on...

To those of us who have been trading a while, we all know this kind of shit happens from time to time, and it's all a part of the whole trading game nowadays. Hell, I've had dudes back out on trades AFTER I shipped beer. I was glad to even get my box back that I just moved on w/o raising a fuss... to each his own I guess.

I feel like it could have been handled better privately.

Ok looks like @ghost_pepper78 would like to troll this thread rather than come out and say his side, thats fine with me. He can enjoy a time out for his snarky comment above. I think this is over now , locking down but leaving up for reference.
